I think lost in the "Kobe Stan" slander is....that means most of them have been Laker fans for 20 plus years now and the past few years have been a struggle with "life after Kobe" from a fan aspect.

Cook from PG county like me, DMV is a Laker stronghold quiet as kept. OGs used to watch hometown heroes like Elgin Baylor and Kermit Washington.

I've been a Laker fan pretty much all of my life and that's because i met James Worthy when i was 8yrs old when i was with my uncle in Charlotte [he's from Gastonia...basically Charlotte]. I was a fan ever since... i just wish i could have gotten that picture before my uncle passed years ago.

EXACTLY. nikkas literally grew up with Kobe from kindergartden days until mid 20s. This Laker and Mamba shyt is one in the same. And the most mind boggling part about guys who keep up the "You're not a Laker fan narrative"... I STILL havent received proof from these guys that the Laker fanbase took a hit when Kobe retired. If people were just Kobe fans, there would be less interest in the Lakers now (similar how to interest in the Cavs becomes nonexistant when he leaves.) Kobe fans in this thread wouldn't even be posting in this thread/forum in the first place, we would've stopped in 2016. Even overseas all the kobe fans in asia and shyt still follow the Lakers religiously. They were putting up Laker billboards for Kawhi in the Philippines....whoever paid for that shyt probably became a Laker fan thru Kobe. These dumbass nikkas don't understand Laker fan culture and keep trying to tell us what's up smh.

The first lineup has the defense covered with 3 good/great defenders and Bron and Cousins being average and the shooting will be there too. Everyone in that lineup can shoot 3s. Bradley and Danny take care of the opposing wings on defense.

shyt for me I been a fan since 88. I spent the summer in Cali after the Lakers won that second of the back to back. My aunt bought me a back to back championship hat. Since Kansas City didn't have a team that became my squad.
