Lebron is still one of the best players in the league, but he does not play defense so he can focus alot more on having those offensive numbers. KD rejected him because he already explained it last season about himself, Lebron, and Kawhi not being able to team up because they are the guys who are suppose to go at it in the league. He said this when he made those comments about Lebron's environment being toxic. Its true to what he said because if any one of these guys were to team up and form pairs in any scenario, then no one would stand a chance barring injury. It also would not enhance any of their legacies because these are the top 3 players in the league. Kawhi got shut down based off that.
