That 2nd unit can be very good.

McGee/AD can control the paint (help cover's LeBron defense)

Cook just has to not be food out there and make open shots.

Rondo runs the 2nd unit show with Cousins/Kuz feasting. Just get them that ball.

Let AD/Bron get the offense started early and then rotate. Can't have too many guys that need the ball on the floor at the same time.

I think you have to start Cousins especially if he comes into the season in shape and motivated.

If the Lakers don’t win a chip by the end of Bron’s tenure, this entire FO needs to be canned from the top to the bottom.

It’s one thing not to get Kawhi, but this FO lacks the imagination to get players that fit. You immediately resign KCP and Javale, despite both of them having issues, when you can get players that fit the system.

I’m willing to bet, they could’ve took that KCP/Javale money and used that to sign Aaron Holiday/Johnathan Williams. Both of those players can do what KCP/Javale do, and I’m sure they’d go for the vet minimums.

Cook might be the starter by the end of the year... let him cook and develop more

Rondo still a good passer and that's what we gonna want him out there for... distribute the ball to the open shooters around him.. he'll get his stats throughout the course of the game... but I'm not mad at bringing him back

Dudley/Kuz at the forward position could get ugly defensively

However, if anything I'd say let that be the run and gun offense.

1st unit should be the defensive/half court offense squad. Fits Bron's style better, but he needs shooters and defenders. Hopefully Cousins and Kuz are scoring enough points that the defense doesn't take too much of a hit for the 2nd unit.

We need wing defense. Bron is 35 we can’t have him chasing the teams best player through picks and shyt and wear and tear him. Kuzma is trash on defense. Good defenders who can switch between the 3 and the 4 like Hollis Jefferson can help us. We’re going to meet the clippers in the playoffs so we have to get players that can deal with George and Kawhi who are both 6’8 .

bruh... that's like saying teams need to find players that can deal with AD and Lebron. they're superstars for a reason. Paul George stops himself in the playoffs. But there's not a player that can guard Kawhi or contain him. Our best bet is Iggy getting cut.
