Kuzma is the 6th man where he belongs.

We have two great defenders in AD and Danny Green. Both top 5-10 at their positions defensively. Danny was just a few votes away from making all defensive 2nd team.

Rondo(woat defensively)
Danny Green(Elite)
Bron(Good when he tries)
AD(elite)
Boogie(Average)

The only one that's trash defensively is Rondo. Boogie can hold his own man to man but he has a hard time rotating. He also came back from his quad injury and was still dealing with achilles so he should be better next year.

KCP is good defensively.
Dudley is average-good
Kuzma is trash
McGee is solid when it comes to contesting shots but gets bullied man to man

We need wing defense. Bron is 35 we can’t have him chasing the teams best player through picks and shyt and wear and tear him. Kuzma is trash on defense. Good defenders who can switch between the 3 and the 4 like Hollis Jefferson can help us. We’re going to meet the clippers in the playoffs so we have to get players that can deal with George and Kawhi who are both 6’8 .

If the Lakers don’t win a chip by the end of Bron’s tenure, this entire FO needs to be canned from the top to the bottom.

It’s one thing not to get Kawhi, but this FO lacks the imagination to get players that fit. You immediately resign KCP and Javale, despite both of them having issues, when you can get players that fit the system.

I’m willing to bet, they could’ve took that KCP/Javale money and used that to sign Aaron Holiday/Johnathan Williams. Both of those players can do what KCP/Javale do, and I’m sure they’d go for the vet minimums.

fukk it bring both Cousins and Rondo off the bench.

Javale/Cousins
AD/Kuz
Bron/Dudley
Green/KCP
Cook/Rondo

That 2nd unit can be very good.

McGee/AD can control the paint (help cover's LeBron defense)

Cook just has to not be food out there and make open shots.

Rondo runs the 2nd unit show with Cousins/Kuz feasting. Just get them that ball.

Let AD/Bron get the offense started early and then rotate. Can't have too many guys that need the ball on the floor at the same time.

Can't Cook start? He's career 42% from three and can play off ball. Basically an undersized 2 and let Bron run the point.
