Truth is the Lakers probably should have moved on Russell. Especially since they were going to waste money on KCP. :francis:

Once Bron is gone in 2021, you'll have plenty of dudes and capspace who will be willing to come play alongside AD

Kawhi never seemed like a "Laker"

He never seemed like Kobe 2.0 like yall were saying. Maybe game wise, but not mentality.
Kobe would have wanted to SNATCH the best player title from LeBron and enjoy all that comes with being a Laker.

Kawhi would rather be off in the cut as a Clipper doing his own thing.

I think the FO had every intention of building with the young dudes until bron and Klutch started forcing their hand publically. I was never down with the AD trade but if we signed Kawhi it would've lessened the sting. This is disastrous.

Ok and what if Bron decides to stay on the Lakers past 2021? Bronny isn’t gonna get drafted until like 2023. So where Bron gonna go while he waits for his son? More convenient for him to stay a Laker until he can team with Bronny.

Y’all really wanna act casual about shyt. Laker fans been running with this whole “we’ll get guys in a few years” shyt for years and years. We wanted a max tier 1 guy in his prime and we still
haven’t gotten it unless AD becomes that guy but we haven’t seen it yet. And even if he does his sidekick will be old ass Bron I mean how long do y’all really expect him to be elite.


Even this 2 year window is sketchy our roster is thin as hell. How is Bron supposed to be load managed. What if AD get hurt what Bron gonna do?? Drag us to the playoffs and get hurt again? Too many variables. Kawhi would’ve gave us cushion that why Bron stalked him during the offs
