I'm starting to have doubts. Why is he spending 4th of July in Canada if he's leaving? Plus his Uncle's birthday is tomorrow. They gonna spend it in Toronto? :francis: :mjcry:

Then again he could be packing his shyt, and is gonna get on a jet in the AM, and have it announced he's coming to the Lakers while he's in the air :troll:
Who said he was still in Toronto? Nobody knows where he’s at.

He will never surpass Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Jerry West in Lakers lore, but he is already the Michael Jordan of Canada.

If Kahwi come here and win multiples rings he’ll have a proper place in Lakers lore. You get a statue you’ll be remembered. There’s a whole generation of Laker fans that didn’t really get to see Kobe. Kahwi can grab a whole generation of Laker fans by coming here and winning.

The only ones out of reach in my opinion are Kobe and Magic, but he can definitely settle in under them

Nah, I think even them too. At the very least I expect Kawhi to be shoulder to shoulder with them. When I went back to think about it, what major Laker superstar was actually FROM SoCal? Kawhi would be the first for sure and that might bolster his argument in Lakers lore.

He can get close but Magic and Kobe have the mystic of only ever wearing a Laker Jersey, that's hard to top

I think being from SoCal wold bridge the gap. Not to mention, he’s had a history with Kobe since he was a spur so he’s damn sure the Kobe stans top choice. I think he’d get way more love than Bron did when he signed.

Kawhi already has a mural and hasn't even signed, Bron has been public enemy number 1 of most Lakers fans for a decade. If Bron held out this long last year, there would be riots. They were ready to ship Bron out for missing a pizza party last summer. Kawhi has cost LA some solid free agents and the base is like

":whoa: Whatever it takes, we need total silence like Kawhi wants"
:pachaha:
