im not gonna regret shyt.....we already gave up the young core so might as well go in on the stars. If we don't get Kawhi then we try to sign another star when Bron retires. As for now we just ride it out with Bron/AD/Kuz. Kuz could turn out to be a consistent 20+ppg scorer

why would you think they choose them over Lakers if both don't get Kawhi? Clippers have Harrell and Zubac returning, Gallo..etc.
Lakers can offer way more mins/bigger role with same amount of money
Some players want championships...other players want to get paid.
Dallas also has about 20m in cap space. You just know that fucboi Cuban wants to stick it to the Lakers.

These dudes acting like there are quality free agents available. Let's be real. Dudes like Danny green and Marcus Morris aren't moving the damm needle in the west. Once the core was traded, fukk depth. Go top heavy. It's funny how all the bron stans were like "wait do we need kawhi?, what about depth after the AD trade". Shyt transparent as hell. The reality is this though. Basketball is basketball. I trust our scouting department. Spurs pick up dudes off the street on the regular and succeed. Its gonna boil down to coaching. As good as Danny green is, there are many dany greens out there but they just havent had the opportunity. Mark my words, this kid norvell kid will go down as a steal. The fact that guys like kuzma and hart (late draft picks) were viewed as legit assets were evident of our scouting ability. To say he doesn't move the needle is very disingenuous on your part....And you're taking my comment about not signing Kawhi out of context....Of course you sign Kawhi if he wants to play for the Lakers, but that doesn't seem to be the case. He seems to be in limbo about where he wants to play. Kawhi's indecisiveness has cost LA some quality role players (Curry,Kantar, etc).......I'm still hoping Kawhi picks the Lakers, but if he doesn't, our depth is going to look like shyt.
