Is breh really going through all this just to re-up? The Raptors have had a whole year, a title, and a meeting to convince him and he still hasn’t made up his mind. And now it came out that they haven’t even talked about any two year deals.
He's a different guy. Probably the only player in history to really wait until 6pm on Sunday to start formulating his plan. :heh:

Sedano is saying basically what brehs on here as saying. If it was gonna be the raptors he would have announced by now. He thinks he went there to “break up” with them :jbhmm:
Why aren't they making FA moves then or bringing in new players? That type of move would signal the end of the circus. All the decent players are off the board and the Lakers should have filled out their squad by now. AD and Lebron and other decent mid tier players are enough to win the championship. All they needed was good defenders and other 3 and D players and the machine would be ready to roll.

Lebron is 35 . What the Lakers are doing is smart idgaf what anyone says :mjlol:

We have AD who is now our franchise player: Kawhi is a generational talent. You do what you can to get him. This shyt isn’t about just
this year this is about the future as well.

LA would've been better off building depth around Davis, Lebron, and Kuzma......Kawhi is more of a luxury than a necessity. The Lakers could just sign Kawhi when they free up cap space in two years. The most annoying thing about this situation is that we passed up on some good FA for a guy who's in limbo about where he wants to play.

If Kawhi doesn't sign with the Lakers you almost hope that he's signs with the Clippers....Why?...Well, it's simple...If Kwahi signs with Toronto the Lakers and Clippers will be in a bidding war for FA....The Clippers have more cap space than us....If Kawhi signs with the Clippers most of their cap space will be gone.

Yeah man, if the free agent pool is already thin you might as well wait for Kawhi. LeBron is in his "Kareem in the mid 80s" phase. No guarantee he's not in and out of the lineup for the rest of his career, not to mention load management when he's healthy. Wait on Kawhi and build around AD/Kawhi. Use whatever years you get from Bron as a bonus.

AD
Kawhi
Kuz
could be a monster big 3 in a few years plus Bron would be off the books when PG/Gary Harris/KD/Kyrie/Zach Lavine are all Free agents

Clippers already have most of their spots filled, they just need to fill a superstar role. Guys will choose Lakers because they have more opportunity. Danny Green or Morris can start on Lakers, they wont on Clippers

You would rather the Clippers have Kawhi, as opposed to the scraps out on the FA market? :dahell:

It's only dumb because you have tunnel vision and are not seeing the bigger picture....LA could've built a team with championship caliber depth. But because Kawhi is taking so long to sign the quality of remaining FA have diminished.

Kawhi on the Clippers does not scare me. I am more concerned with the Lakers getting quality role players.

Yup and if he goes back to Toronto they’ll be bidding against the clippers for whoever is left so they’ll be overpaying for fringe roster players

Plus on a team with Lebron ad and kuzma

Marcus Morris and Demarcus Cousins don’t really much a ton of sense

Kawhi is a necessity for the future of the franchise.
