Just seen on the ticker clips signed someone for 15 mil. Guess they eliminated....
They can still afford him breh
Last I checked they were at 33m to our 32m. If that signing I saw was real that at least means they pay less than us.

By acquiring McGruder shortly before the end of the regular season, after Miami had waived the 6-foot-4 guard for cost-cutting reasons, the Clippers acquired his early Bird rights, which allow a team to exceed the salary cap to re-sign their own players. In the interim, the Clippers still maintain enough cap room to fit a maximum salary.
The Clippers made McGruder a restricted free agent on June 28 by extending him a qualifying offer. Instead of signing an offer sheet with another team, McGruder and the team negotiated a new deal that will keep the Maryland native in Los Angeles.
From the Los Angeles time's
I thought they had room for 2 max free agents
If not maybe they saying to KL that they same team will come back they had last year will have Cohesion
And the clippers with him will have a fast start
That’s the best I can come up with
I’m expecting to see Kawhi signed with the Lakers today Word to Sedale Threatt
:mjhate:
I disagree. I've long said it'd be smart of other free agents to do that. If Lebron and AD could sign even a borderline all star like D'angelo they are the title favorites. So why would it not be in Kawhi's best interest to weaken the biggest contender out there? If I knew I was going back to a team I would purposely fukk with every other contender out just to keep them from improving or at the least causing them to lose depth as they clear cap room.Trash narrative. Kawhi has no reason to do that and it's not in his character or best interest.

whole process is bytchmadeHas the marquee free agent ever been pretty much the last domino of consequence to fall? Like.. what the fukk was his team doing leading up to Sunday
