Although the Pelicans are open to working with the Lakers and delaying the trade, it’s unlikely that will happen, according to multiple people familiar with their thinking. New Orleans’ priority will be to make the fourth pick as attractive as possible to another team.

It’s likely that whatever team they trade the fourth pick to will want the player in their building as quickly as possible, and will want him to play at the Las Vegas Summer League, which will be held July 5-15. If the Pelicans opt to keep the pick, they might also want him to participate in Summer League.

Kawhi even brought it up after they won the title when they asked him about how he felt about toronto after the trade even though it wasn't one of his destinations

he said " We all know what my destinations were..."

that was the first time Kawhi directly confirmed that from his own mouth.

that was Woj last year.

so where did this whole Clippers shyt come from?

How would history have changed if the Spurs gave in. :jbhmm:

Would that still killed any chance at getting AD in 2020 or nah. Crazy how things go :wow:

All Rich Paul has to say is fukk with me, you're never signing any of my clients

:manny:

Rich Paul is signing all the top guys in the league and some of the top rookies. We've seen how petty Rich and Klutch can be and hate it or love it, they usually get what they want.

We'd probably get AD in 2020. But not getting Kawhi last season might have been a blessing cause we were a hot mess with a shyt coach and he most likely would have left. Luke Walton ain't no Nick Nurse and then we would be left with Bron and nothing.
