I mean if jeannie calls Kobe and asks should I hire your former life-long agent as a gm is he gonna say no? :stopitslime:

Should've hired him in a different role.

Let's think about this logically for a second. Pelinka is a former agent. He doesn't have the best reputation around the league because he's not the most honest person. Why would any team help Pelinka unless they were getting back a King's Ransome?...The Lakers need a front office guy who is well respected and has good relationships around the league.

Griffin deserves a little heat for his lottery selections in 2012/2013....But I sort of give him a pass because both drafts were not very deep, especially the 2013 draft.
Nah Dude.

Waiters over Lillard, Drummond, Green and Middleton.

Bennett over Oladipo, Noel, Porter,McCollum, Giannis, Steven Adams, Schroder and Gorbert.

That's some unforgivable shyt.

I stand corrected. I just took a look at the rest of Griffin's drafts picks. just terrible.

There's no way in hell the Lakers should hire Griffin.

SAS said that he heard rumours that Magic wanted to fire Rob Pelinka along with Luke Walton. Apparently it was going bad between Magic and Pelinka.

So he was gonna blow it up and install a Bron regime :scust:

Best for him to just leave. Now whoever replaces him will probably fire Pelinka anyway and probably Luke unless Jeanie is adamant about keeping him.

As word spread through the Lakers' organization and the NBA, several people wondered whether Johnson's departure was related to a yet-to-be-published article by ESPN that is said to address allegations about Johnson's conduct with employees.

He said it was just a rumor he heard. Nothing confirmed.

Looks like more fukkery is coming

This is interesting though because I remember an article from a few months back, I think during the AD fiasco, where they were saying that Magic is known around the Lakers offices for not being there often, but when he does show up he's pretty much an a$$hole. I think the article used the word aggressive to describe his management style. So this all is starting to line up....
