One thing that hasn't gained traction this season is the fact that PJ has been popping up at the Laker facility this season to hang out with Rambis, his wife and Jeanie.

Just like old times.

People like to say Luke is smashing Jeanie, but I think what's really going on is Phil is still piping Jeanie down.

And we all know Jeanie's true dream is having PJ as president. That fact Kurt has never stopped working for the Lakers is a telling sign. Kurt is Phil's guy, and Kurt's wife is Jeanie bff.

Nothing tells me Jeanie is willing to look outside the organization for anything. She'll probably actually contact Kobe about this job or just go with Phil/Kurt.
