The difference and downgrade from Lonzo to Rondo defensively is incredible. This is not being said enough. Rondo is nearly completely useless on defense. The only thing he can do is gamble for steals but he’s too slow to even do that.

I honestly think they would have made the playoffs if they didn’t sign Rondo. Do you remember those games in November/December when Rondo was out? The team was rolling. Since his return he’s the only player on the team with a positive +\- when he’s not on the court
