Kobe out here star chasing like Magic :hhh:

Kob averaged 19 his third year, about where BI and Kuz are at. Obviously not saying they are on kob's level, but i'm puzzled on what exactly they have to do for people to look at them as a viable piece. They're talked about like they're trash.

Yeah pretty much. Why trade and give up all these assets if the guy wants to play for your squad ?
Be patient, build up the young core and scoop AD up when he's a free agent.

I don't get the lakers why are you playing mcgee 30 minutes a night still and wagner 4? Mcgee is on a one year deal

why even sign ingram if your not going to play him? why is rondo getting all these major minutes
Luke is a dead man walking so he couldn’t give a fukk about future development (Wagner) or a PR stunt (Ingram). Rondo is his guy that’s why he lets him play all these minutes without him even trying on defense.

Looking at the Lakers remaining schedule and they only have two games left against teams that have nothing to play for. Outside of New Orleans and Sacramento (who probably still wants to win just for confidence sake) every team is either a playoff team or just on the cusp. Unless teams below the Lakers go full tank they have a real chance to drop all the way down to sixth worst team.

just gonna drop this gem in here

I didn't see it when he first joined us, but Lonzo has a rare "genius" that can't be taught.

He needs to get stronger this offseason so he can stay healthy, polish his offensive game...but I honestly think the offense should run through him next year

He's just more dynamic than anyone else on our team :manny:

:ohlawd: We need material like this to reach the masses. Some of those stats were staggering.

7th in defense with Zo to 30th without him
1st in transition points with Zo, 27th without him

:wow:

Those two stats alone explain what’s been missing in the last few months. When Lebron was injured our issue was half court offense.

Just watching some of the plays with his motor on defense and how he chased after every player, picked up full court pressure, chased down fast breaks, and gave maximum efgort on defense WHILE they showed how well his offense was improving overtime with more minutes showed us everything that was missing from the lineups.

But casuals will say thats nothing special

Co-sign all this. It's not Pop who got left behind by the current NBA--it's Bron and Rondo. They're from a half court offense era. Decaying before our eyes, brehs.
