Coaching staff fukked up putting Kuz in the starting lineup cause there's no way he agrees to go back to the bench to accommodate Lebron next season. Then again he probably wont be on the team anyway. Magic bout to be in full panic mode giving up the farm for a star player.

If Klay was willing to come here he’d be a perfect fit. He’d eat with Bron and Zo and open things up for BI.

If they can get Kawhi then they likely have a shot at Danny Green and that would make them the best team in the West (depending on what happens with the Warriors). Gotta hope the Raptors lose a bit earlier than expected.

1) LA should go after Valanciunus. He's only 26 yrs old(Turns 27 in May) is avg 13.9p/7.6r in only 20 mpg and is a legit 7 footer. If you're going to play Lebron/Ingram at the forward positions, you need a big center who can rebound and defend.

2) LA should also sign a defensive mobile big like T.Gibson.

3) Then go after a big fish with the remaining cap space

4) I'd also consider trading Kuzma

This is great advice if we want to tank for another 5/6 years

There's no place for Kuz in the SL next year :manny:

Y’all really have the worst front office

Magic has exposed his lack of current basketball knowledge time and time again in his stint as analyst and only chases stars and big names. I guarantee there are a large number of players in this league who Magic doesn’t even know their names

Pelinka is best known as being Kobe Bryant’s agent :gucci:

this nikka Kobe need to come out of hiding and take some responsibility for this shyt :stopitslime:

First off he told Jeanie to fire Jim which lead to the hiring of Magic. Considering he was behind the Jim firing I can only assume Jeanie asked him about Magic as President and he probably cosigned it. Then you got Rob Pelinka which is 100% Kobe. Magic didn't even know Rob before all this, so why would he hire him? Someone had to co-sign Rob to Magic....and the only logical person is Kobe.

Now he out here on some "I haven't talked to anybody over there in months" :hubie: shyt

since Jerry Buss died we've had Jeanie, Jim, Phil, Magic, Kobe all vying for position in their own ways :pachaha: and it's fukking us over :beli:

Hate to say it but it’s true. We thanked Kobe for getting rid of cokehead and mitch but he also failed to stop the nepotism that put us in this position to begin with. Perhaps he didn’t want to meddle too much, but if you telling Jeanie to fire the front office then you pretty much meddling.

I think the mistake was him not advocating for Logo. Kobe knows better than that. So is it more important that we win or that Kobe keeps his proxy in the front office? With how hands off he is, doesn’t look like he bout to get in on this mess.

Yeah this isn't surprising.. I've heard alot of comments lately that say the Lakers are still ran like a small family business whereas the rest of the teams in the league are now run like big companies. They have a new practice facility but I heard the team's staff(medical, training, analytics, etc) is really small and they don't spend much money in those areas. Their whole ownership/front office drama has been nothing but a big family squabble for years now.

yeah it truly is a family business. That's why Jeanie is so emotional with her approach to the team. The franchise is really her baby :pachaha:

They dont have these big corporate businesses like other owners. You have a point, since PJ left i think most of our coaches have been lowly paid, and it's clear we dont invest as much into medical staff, development and perhaps even analytics like we're supposed to. Historically we've always had former players as GM/Prez and our last 2 coaches have been former players.

New practice facility was probably built with the money from the Spectrum deal.

People have said for a while that perhaps they should sell the team to AEG, who already owns a nice chunk of the team and I think has first right of refusal.

AEG's owner is against legal weed tho and is friends with Trump :patrice:

Basically, we're fukked :skip:
