The blown last minute calls vs Memphis and Last night vs suns should tell you the league aint want them in the playoffs.

That's the weird part of all of this. The recent games against the Bucks, Grizzlies, and Suns were close enough to tilt with a little of the ref fukkery they were getting in 2013. They even had a few clearly missed calls go against them. There is still plenty of time left to get them in but the league isn't showing the same urgency they had a few years ago.

There is all this talk about Kobe willing that team to the playoffs but a lot of the memories are ultimately guided by wins and losses. Kobe wilted at the end of several of those games and they won away just because the refs were spotting them so many points.

Meh lakers will make one final run to put themselves in position to get a playoff spot. I just can’t imagine them bowing out. They just got to stop losing to bad teams. But they’ll go on a 5-6 game winnings streak sometime soon. Otherwise Lebron is justified for wanting to gut this roster and get AD.

Plus I want to see Lebron and GSW in the first round:lolbron:
The young guys aren’t the problem. It’s the vets and brons lack of D that they are in this situation. Plus lonzo low key made a huge impact they were busting your ass on your home court until he got hurt.

STOP IT....REFS ALWAYS HATED THE LAKERS. EVEN WIT TIM DONAGHY, HE WAS ONLY DOIN IT FOR FINANCIAL GAIN, NOT BECAUSE THE LEAGUE "FAVORED" US...........

IF U LOOK AT THAT SAC SERIES, TIM DONAGHY REFEREED GAME 5 IN THE KINGS FAVOR AND GAME 6 IN THE LAKERS FAVOR. HE ACTUALLY EVENED IT OUT AND WAS ONLY LOOKIN TO PUSH IT TO 7. REVISIONISTS CHANGED THE NARRATIVE TO FIT THEIR AGENDA.

Everyone always forgets about the Kings Lakers Game 5 when they want to go on their ridiculous anti-lakers rants

Except the narrative is Lebron can take anybody to the finals cause he’s coasted in the East despite his team having injuries, bad coaching and having terrible teams at times like he did last year

This season defeats that theory that Lebron can lead just anybody to the finals. Even with the injuries, most of the team is back now except lonzo and we still losing. Lebron is putting up his usual numbers we are still losing.

In 2008-2009, Lebron won 66 games with Mo Williams and Delante west as his 2nd and 3rd options, so don’t give me that “his team terrible” excuses cause according to bron stans, his teams has been been terrible most of the time and the coaching has always been questionable, yet it was never this bad. This man took a G-league team to the finals last year. That’s not happening in the West until we get more help this off season.
2009 LeBron would carry this team. He wouldn't have gotten injured and he had more of an extra gear then and was far far better defensively then.

This team is not terrible it's just been ravaged by injuries and is poor constructed from a roster standpoint. Those Cavs teams had shooters and chemistry and defended.

:mjlol: Of course Ayton went off on y'all nikkas been getting killed by every center from Ayton to Cheikh Diallo

JaVale makes no sense dude has been a 10-15 minute guy that last like 5 seasons. He's known to be asthmatic. Also he's a shot blocker not a true rim protector that deters opponents %'s at the rim.

And then y'all picked up Tyson Chandler who is beyond washed.

I don't think Zo is coming back this season

Really feel like Zo hasn't been Zo since that injury he had towards the tournament at UCLA. Shoulders, knees, ankles, hamstrings. Dude might be a glass man. :mjcry:

Too late for that breh. They’d be blowing out these trash teams if that was the case.
Lakers can't blow anyone out. Trash defense, not enough three point shooting to push margins, not enough FT shooting to extend leads, too turnover prone.

Team is an enigma. Can beat any team on any given night but can also lose to any given team on any given night.

Bone bruises take like 2 months to heal. Zo might come back at the end of March if still in the Lakers are still in the hunt.

I'll say this about Zo, he's a skinny 6'6 guy who has weak looking ankle and knee joints, it would do well for him to stabilize his lower body over the summer to avoid these injuries.

Where did this game 5 trash about the out of bounds call come from? It seems like that started in the last few years from people who watched the grainy ass YouTube videos and didn't watch the original game. Find a quote or story from that time that says that was a blown call. It can even be a biased Lakers site. There was question about the pick on Fisher and the defense on Kobe's miss at the buzzer but you are all turning that out of bounds deflection into some Mandela effect shyt :what:

:camby: The Lakers are the moneymaker for the league. There is a reason anytime the Lakers get eliminated from the playoffs, it's a fukking blowout. It's because you have to blow them out to beat them. Anything close and the Lakers will get one of their patented 25-30 free throw 4th quarters if that's what it takes to keep them ahead.
