These barbers are out of their minds now though. I rock the fro, but still like a nice line up. Mostly do it myself but sometimes I'll let a pro do it. Went to a random barbershop and said I wanted a line up and taper the back up. This man looked me in the eye and said "that's a cut big fella, $20"

I remember when a line up with a taper in the back was $5

It's easy to see he was in barber school, that's what these SCHOOLS encourage students to do...so they can have clients come through. But you can tell you internet nikkas don't really live a true black life, cause let's be reality, outside of nikkas you know, if you checkin dudes cuts like y'all do on the internet, you're a fakkit.

2 he was the one braggin, "gunna" come see me. LOL...he put himself out there. he should have been humble if he's learning and isn't good

the other issue is he didn't realize he wasn't good, he braggin on his work like it was top notch. If he can't tell the difference between a good cut and a bad cut he shouldnt' be in the business.

if you can't tell the difference between a good mix drink and a bad mix drink, you shouldn't be bartending

if you can't tell the difference between a stopped up toliet and free flowing toliet, you shouldn't be plumbing.

The thing is, most barbers also go into barber school already being pretty good.
You should be able to give a good dark Caesar with a lineup by your third or fourth attempt.
Learning how to fade, use a straight razor, and taper may take a little bit more time, but the basics are not difficult.
I support this guy for getting off his ass and trying to find new ways to earn income, but he's clearly not good at cutting. Hopefully somebody shows him how to do it correctly.
