I told people this in another thread. This is the type of movie critics hate on for no reason. I knew it would find an audience the box office proved this. I'm sorry but I don't watch movies based on what critics says. I get a personal feel and make that decision on my own. Sure sometimes I agree with the critics but more times than not I don't agree. They hyped up "Zero Dark Thirty" and tons of other movies. This is a funny friday night type of date movie. The Waynes makes funny movies, that's what they do. I'm betting "Haunted House" is funnier than the last 3 Scary Movies and other spoofs recently. Bottom line, I always trust a comedy project that the Wayans are involved in cause I've always found them funny. Not shocked by the Box Office.

Movie looks like hot refuse, similar to all those "Not Another..." abortions. The audience for movies like this are the Honey Boo Boo/Jersey Shore mouth-breathers.

just did a search of scary movie 1,2 and white chicls got bad ratings from RT. All three of those movies were funny as hell.

I'm sure this one sucks but remember that cac movie reviewers were calling white chicks one of the worst movies ever and they have a hard on for hating the wayans, can't trust what they say

pretty good interview with Marlon on Breakfast Club. He said some interesting stuff about Scary Movie. Haunted House only cost 2 million to make and it made 12 mil over the weekend, so Marlon made out pretty well being the writer/producer/actor for this...
