At this point, let's reserve judgement; the daughter could be lying or telling the truth.

I've seen cases of elders manipulated by people close to them to the point they were defending those people against family members trying to help them.

Someone is scheming in any case.

The thing is, actors pay into unions like other people. SAG.

Very rarely do we hear about people who were working actors needing help with medical care later in life.

Other entertainers? Yes, but not often does it happen to tv and film actors. Maybe to people who had a bit part here and there, but not working actors.

I’m leaning towards the daughter here. John Amos is probably not of as a sound mind as he’s been previously, and that woman is probably taking advantage of him. She’s probably trying to get him to change his will as we speak

Breh it took everything in my soul not to fukk up this guy for fukking over my grandparents after a major flood from a hurricane in Houston some years ago. Within 1 minute of looking at the agreed quote I notice dude wrote the quote deliberately not to include the price for restoring the house after the removal of all damaged sheetrock and base molding. He told them it would cost an additional 25-30k to restore their house. My granny called me crying. They gave him all the money upfront. I immediately drove to Houston and met the contractor. Mind you, I work with contractors all the time for my job. I started spitting the contractor lingo and dude was in panic mode. I told him, your service here is done. He says we'll they still owe me. I told him, Naw they don't owe you another dime, you're done here.

After that, I told my grandparents to never meet with contractors without our knowledge.

Years ago, I had a situation where my elderly grandfather didn't listen to me when I asked him not to purchase an HD TV without calling me first.

He took offense to that and deliberately went to PC Richards by himself to prove that he's perfectly capable of purchasing a television without me.

On a Saturday night, me and my wife went to go watch District 9 on his new TV. A few minutes into it, my wife was like "what the hell is that big white cloud in the middle of the screen"

Needless to say I was pissed off and told him "They saw your ass coming from halfway down the block and sold you a wack tv for $1,400!!! Call them tomorrow and tell them you will be coming to get a new TV"

Next day I call him up and he tells me PC Richards is going to send a technician to fix the problem! :what:

I was like "Fuk that!" I boxed up the TV and brought that shyt back myself. Argued with the Arabs running the store and pretty much threatened them (not physical threats). Anyway, they exchanged the television and gave him one with no issues.

But yea, elderly people get phuked with a lot.
