And the sad part about that is it elevated NO ONE.

Like what really had Drew Mac done since? He’s just kinda there being the silent bodyguard for Shane after he’s one of the guys that had this big thing about “getting complacent guys in the locker room out” and changing the game. Not he himself looks complacent.

They should’ve atleast had him have a serious feud with Seth other the belt (instead of whatever that was with Baron) and possibly even give him the title.

Then he’d pretty much now then beat 2/3s of The Shield and they probably could’ve made some money having Roman chase him for the belt with him possibly going over Roman and bam.... now you have a new legit star

You honestly sound like you’re looking at this from a poor man’s perspective.

“Having money not everything, Not having it is.”

He has the money, Now he wants the FREEDOM to be able to express himself and wrestle how he wants to. And he also isn’t on the road wrestling 300 days a year.

Not looking at it from a “poor man’s perspective”. Looking at the reality of the situation.

that’s why I say it’s easy for someone like Moxley (who already has set for life money) to talk that way. and again good for him, but the reality is that most wrestlers would love the chance to make real money.... and no, money isn’t everything, but it does matter in a profession like wrestling where there is very little of it to be made and a very limited amount of spots.

It’s just getting tiresome hearing someone like Moxley who is already set financially constantly taking jabs. He didn’t do this years ago when he was in CZW and you want to know why?... because he wanted that WWE money. Now he has it and he’s free to do whatever. Again, good for him.

you don't know how much AEW is paying him.

Jericho has said he's making more money on his AEW deal than he ever did in WWE.

That’s true. Actually, no one knows what AEW is paying their wrestlers other than Tony Kahn going on record on a YouTube interview recently and saying “we can’t pay everyone $100,000 per year”.

Guys like Moxley and Jericho are going to get paid. They are the exception. The other 90% of the roster will make NXT money at best (under the current TNT deal that only covers their production cost).

Or......Because he never worked for WWE before so how could he complain about working for WWE? :what:

My most anticipated match in the G1 is him vs Naito. Long as he gives us good matches and is happy, then I'm all for it.

the catch is the wrestlers have freedom to work Indy shows, Mexico or Japan

alot of wrestlers would prefer that deal over 500k for character destruction and misery

Yea. A few months ago you were making a couple million dollars annually in WWE. That’s such a “toilet bowl”. We get it, you didn’t like creative, but get some damn perspective.

For some people, all the money in the world can't replace the idea of being happy and fulfilled at work.

Moxley is that type. Before shytting on dude's perspective, try looking at the situation from that vantage point.

While dude did make good money during his time in the WWE, he also busted his ass doing so. He didn’t have a Brock deal where he caked and worked a light schedule, Ambrose was, at a time, the legit workhorse of the WWE with the most dates wrestled head and shoulders above most of the roster. I see talks of his bank account like he got easy money, but I think prior to his triceps injury, he had somewhere close to 600 matches under his belt between 2015 and 2017.

He put in his time, he put in the effort, and he was compensated for it but I don’t think he earned it lightly and I don’t think it should minimize his gripes with the company. To bust your ass, pull the weight that came with it, battle a life threatening injury somewhat as a result, and come back to a lame duck feud (that by his account was rather tasteless anyway) where they had you looking like a Best Value Bane jobbing and looking like a dope, I wouldn’t say his sentiments are off.

again, it's easy for someone like Moxley to say that when he already has millions in his bank account. any random indie wrestler who is the same age as Moxley (mid-30's) who has had "created control" their entire career in the bingo halls and high school gyms for $15,000 a year and a beat to hell body would likely say otherwise. that's just the reality of it.

and again, good for Moxley.
