its 2019 and everybody knows wrestling is fake and reads dirtsheets about backstage shyt that go beyond just "characters" but nikkas wanna get mad when wrestlers arent in character all the time they get paid to do their job just like everybody else and as long as theyre correctly doing it during that time I couldn't care less if they wanna be a normal everyday person on social media, everybody dont gotta be MJF or Lacey Evans and act like their bozo character on twitter 24/7

also, social media wasnt a thing in the "good ol" nostalgic days where people still thought wrestling was real because they were 10 years old but if it was im pretty sure a lot of wrestlers wouldnt have been in character all the time

I mean if I see a wrestler on the street I dont really approach them and let them enjoy their time off so this whole point is irrelevant to me.

That being said if for whatever reason I am at a wrestling convention I'm calling you by your ring name.

Woods point is basically once he's done with WWE, he can't go by Xavier Woods in any other endeavors outside of the E, because that name is something WWE created and owned. So he's making sure while he's still Xavier Woods, he creates something outside of wrestling that he can utilize to make money when he's longer wrestling, which is his Youtube channel. The name "Austin Creed" is representative of that. In-ring he's Xavier Woods...product of WWE. Outside of the ring, he's Austin Creed...avid gamer, anime fan, super buff nerd, etc.

She just changed her name but she's been on this "let's modernize wrestling and treat it like Hollywood more than a simulated sports" wave for at least the last year or so.
