it's a genre. 20 comedies come out a year. the action genre puts out more mediocre dogshyt that every other genre, this is the new action genre. they just need to not have every movie face a weak villain with world destruction on their mind.

The world is becoming more depressed by the day.These movies offer a good distraction.


Not only can you escape into that make believe world, but you can bring your children along with you.


It's a relaxing, therapuetic experience.At the end of a hard work week, reclined back in that dark theater, watching comic book piff with my son.

as much as I love robot villains, you're right. shyt is too played out. unless the main guys went on a 10, 20 minute killing spree with escalating levels of violence.. then i wouldn't mind as much. every fukking time they find a way to disable them ALL AT ONCE

That's why I liked those new xmen movies....the good guys actually went through some shyt. And even though they saved the day...the general public hates or fears them so there is still drama.
