I immediately thought of Do the right thing. Hot as fukk, hyjinx, and kids getting wet up by hoses or water guns. Even grew up where a dude would be 4 floors up dropping water balloons and shooting water guns at kids. Even my dad used to do it.

I was 14 when these songs came out. I met my wife the summer before in 94. We still play these around the house reminiscing

Yeah 96 was that year probably the GOAT but 94-95 is right up there. I always said 94-96 the best years when it came to 90s music especially R&B and Rap. The New Jack Swing was fire but when it transitioned late 93 into 94 to Hip Hop Soul that was the best sound.

Yep the mid 90s when it came to music was the best of the 90s 94-96

93 was not half bad either musically. (Dynamite James beat me to it about 1993. That year had as many bangers as the others years mentioned).

But that summer of 95 is without a doubt the best summer of my childhood. Was 12 that year.
