Should've just left him instead of uploading a video online. Can't publicly expose someone who is that volatile unless you have some type of protection where he can't reach you. You need to understand the psychology of a man like him. Extremely volatile ego. Public exposure will be experienced as complete humiliation and will warrant some extreme response (in his mind). Like I said elsewhere, death or life behind bars mean nothing to a guy like that. "Losing face" is much worse for him.

Generally, women in abusive relationships are advised to dip ASAP and create as much distance to their abuser as possible. New address. New name if necessary. New phone etc...

She has kids. Do y’all understand how difficult it is to relocate your entire life, get a new place to live, a new job, keep your kids away from their father, keep away from your family, etc.

Not including the fact that if she has charges against him and she wants them to stick, she might have to come back to court and work with the legal system which also takes a lot of time.

The Death Penalty only works if people never get railroaded for stuff they didn't do. This dude did it so I get it. But the same way folks get railroaded for petty crimes they get railroaded for capital crimes as well. I'm opposed to it not because I don't believe in payback for foul shyt but because cops, das and prosecutors get up to foul shyt from time to time. If I'm on a jury and I sent somebody up for the chair and they get exonerated after the fact that individual basically got murdered and blood is on my hands.

It's a complicated issue trust me. Multi layered. You'd have to have seen foul shyt cops and prosecutors team up to do to folks to understand. I know lawyers and they tell me shyt that would make your head spin.

Because unfortunately we can’t trust these states to take peoples lives without bias and without fukking it it up and killing someone innocent. And guess who’s disproportionately impacted by executions of wrongfully accused in this country…

I wouldn’t be mad if this MF got executed assuming the case against him is solid but I would not invest that power in the state of New York to get it right consistently with peoples lives in their hands

Literally just had a family friend killed in September when trying to leave her husband. None of us saw it coming they looked like the perfect couple outside.

Those organizations are usually full to the brim and underfunded, especially for someone with 3 kids.

Plus she still has to go to work, her kids still have to go to school. The only way to not be at risk is to completely disappear, and that’s going to be difficult considering they were legally married meaning he has rights concerning the children and can still easily find out where they go to school ect.

Without help from the law/police and a lot of money, a “quick escape” is virtually impossible for a woman with 3 kids that is legally married to her abuser.
