I ain't mad at the bridesmaid reasoning, because she's right.....in this age of receipts....if she got high up the food chain, somebody would come for her head and use those pics against her.

To be fair, plenty of southern black men, host events at plantations as well. While it is the hallmark for slavery, the scenery is nice.
I mean there's barbaric history all over, in NY, Central Park is the creation of white and black slave owners, with plenty of atrocities happening all over during its creation, I still hangout there, and would host an even there. I don't let history dictate my every whim. But if its a soft spot for some, you gotta respect it, the dumbass in this topic was an idiot who thought she should be offended by a black person saying "nah I'm good at chilling in the plantation".
Not posting that piece of the article unfairly makes the black chick look like she's soft shoeing.
In her message, J said that when the bride-to-be started dating her now-fiancé two years ago, they began to discuss getting married at a plantation. But from the offset, the now-former bridesmaid says she brought her concerns to the bride.
"I told you then that I could not be a part of a wedding that happened at a plantation. I firmly believe that all plantations should be museums that highlight the atrocious injustices towards my community," J said. "We talked in great detail about exactly why I felt that way you told me that your love for me outweighed your desire to have a wedding at (plantation) and I wouldn't have to worry about it."
In addition to this, J said appearing at a plantation wedding could harm her career.
"To be pictured and seen at a plantation wedding could cause harm to my professional reputation and, as much as I love you, I cannot make that sacrifice," said the 25-year-old.
Why she say her career?
I would straight up tell he the truth.
It's tacky and disgusting to have a Plantation wedding. It was a place of torture, killings, rapes, extremely emotional/physical abuse and -- literally a cemetery.
That's why I don't have any white friends and don't want any.
What?!
and the black guy did it?

Kill yourself slowly and painfully if you sleep in slave quarters at a plantation at your future wife’s request.
To be fair, if it gets to that point,
omae wa mou shindeiru
Good on the sister for not attending (even though she didn't take a strong stance and just explained it with "professional reasons").
Bad on the sister for having a neanderthot friend.
Especially bad on the sister for having a neanderthot friend who was close enough to invite her to her wedding.
And obviously fukk the racist cac and her entire family. Ol' "admiring plantations' beauty" ass demon.
