I guess Frank is destined to be an off ball player primarily, but in a vacuum this is a good buy low move. I respect it.
Not a terrible move . Frank not a star but he can play the 2. Him and mudiay can work cuz frank can lowkey shoot . if he just work on his shot and stop fouling out, I can see him being a super solid combo guard.

Tim looks like when he first got here:francis:KP added to his game a bit but everyone else plays the same. We don't even get our young guys minutes despite that being the supposed focus in the off-season :francis:Kurt. Rambis. Is. Still. Here.:hhh:Frank was our first pick and pg choice but, you'd think we chose him in the third round if you didn't know about his draft position before with how little he plays.

Alright, breh...

Timmy is struggling right now but there is no way you can say he's the same player that he was in his first year. He's not a turnstile on defense and he's looking hungrier regarding trying to improve himself. He's statistically better in every category - including assists.

KP didn't just add to his game a bit. If that was all he did, he'd have been the unanimous no.1 pick on draft day. Currently, KP has grown into one of the best players in the league and is the only player in the top 5 draft picks who are excelling on his draft team. People didn't even expect the jump in talent from year 2 to 3. Let's not trivialize his growth, breh.

Kurt Rambis is still here and I hate it, too. I feel you. That being said, I don't think we have seen enough this year to say Frank Ntilikina - a player who was projected to be a project for 3 years - is being stunted.

I want to see him out there as much as you do. I'm also want us to accumulate youth and give up veteran space fillers w/ bloated contracts.

Let's re-evaluate at the end of the year.

I have no faith in our F.O., coach, or development staff right now and watch Jack start tonight:mjcry:

Also, brehs, we need to put shyt in perspective...

It's easy to shyt on the life of a Knick fan but we got SPOILED when it comes to what we expect from a draft pick because of the surprising development of KP.

This was supposed to be the year he was goingt o start putting up numbers he had from his rookie year.

What does a usual raw prospect look like in his first year? What type of minutes?

Look at Giannis' 1st year numbers - He clearly started but the minutes spread, when remembering the Bucks were full non-expectations mode, in comparison to the Knicks who reasonably had some people seeing they may play themselves into a playoff spot, isn't that much of a difference all things considered.

No one came into this thread believing Frank was going to start before the 2nd half of the season. As a matter of fact, I would even argue Frank has, in some ways, done better than most people expected so far.

He's not really being stunted.

I honestly don't think the Knicks can commit themselves to a rebuild with Dolan as the owner. :ohhh:
I think this new management can.

I also think it's hard to fully commit when you get punched in the mouth by how good KP was playing early on in the season. It was looking like the team that many believed would be worse than the Nets was not going to be lottery bound unless KP was kidnapped.

So now you see KP beasting, Kanter playing exceptionally well in his role and Timmy turning the corner w/ Jarret Jack and Beasley playing above what was expected... it's not that crazy that the decisions would be hard to just get spooked and gut the team in December

This is why I'm saying, let's see what management/coaching does w/ the no KP circumstance. If, moving forward, Jarrett Jack is getting more floor time than the other guards...I'll admit they are fukking up.

But, time will tell.

The issue with comparing Frank to Giannis, PG, Kawhi and other recent players who had modest rookie years is he's not nearly has athletic as any of them.

Mudiay in the big apple :banderas: Copping a jersey as soon as bro touch down.
