we are talking about point guards
why would we bring up mitchell? lol
i dont give a fukk what he is. combo guard, 2 guard, point guard
he averages 1 less assists than "point god" dsj
while also being 10 times more efficient offensively.
i have no doubts if thrusted into the responsibility of being more of a facilitator he'd be better at it than DSJ
he plays with rubio...he's not gonna make point guard decisions all game.

Top 5 is out of reach now imo, too many worse teams than us. But I’m all for trying:mjgrin:

Hornacek and Rambis gotta go.

Is it though? We're 4 games out of top 6? Lakers is top 5 and they don't even really want to lose cause their pick goes to Boston.

Knicks need to stop fronting and make those trades.

Truth of the matter is, we overachieved the first few months of the season. Yes Timmys injury hurt us, but we don’t need to be playing for the 8th seed anyway, we need to be properly rebuilding and securing a top 5 pick in this heavy draft. Celtics, sixers, Bucks and the bulls all have brighter futures than us in the EC. I don’t foresee us competing until we can pair KP with 1 or two more young superstars like bagley, aynton, porter jr, bamba.

What’s make it worse, you’re clearly seeing KP is not only physically fatigued but mentally as well.

frank is the second youngest player in the league.
your energy was a lot different when they played the mavs. and he outplayed dsj on both ends.
your basketball opinions are extremely basic and doesnt account for things that dont show up on box scores.
you clearly dont value the importance of defense.
obviously dsj is a better offensive threat....but put this into context.
if frank was american...he'd be in college...RIGHT NOW. he has well above average playmaking skills. He has all defensive team potential on defense...and his mechanics on his jumper are not broken.
You epitomize the average new york fan and why the knicks never build anything.
basically all you're saying is "im not interested in developing a player with high potential to stay the long haul...and i like how high dennis smith jumps and how he can dribble"
have a good night bro :mjlol:

That would def be a better alternative than Ron Baker :hhh:, Ramon Sessions:gag:, or oldhead Jack:francis:, who despite his good performance tonight (late game blunders aside), is clearly better suited to come off the bench at this stage of his career. He gave us a nice little spark when he initially got inserted into the starting line up, but that was literally months ago. Its been painfully clear for a ill ass minute that Jack is simply not a NBA starting point guard anymore.

As for Frank, I didnt mind the pick then, and I still don't now. But if you were going to gamble on a "project" with a lottery pick, it seems like Mitchell would have been the safer bet. He's the guy that we missed out on (although to be fair, so did 12 other teams), not DSJ.

no shyt he played like trash. what 19 year old played consistently well at the nba level outside obvious legends? :dead:
kp played his first game when he was 20.
frank doesnt turn 20 until AFTER the nba draft where he'll still be younger than more than half of the players drafted :dead:
Theres been numerous games where he's thoroughly outplayed jarret jack and has much bigger impacts...but young players lack consistency.
your extreme bias and want to hate him is absurd. get your shyt together and watch the games with your eyes.
This nikka wants everyone to be superstars out the gate. I'm sorry...you might not know what development is.
nikka saying KP...like he didnt improve upon his body tenfold.
frank is a canvas. you already know where dsj will max out at. likely a few years in the 20s ppg and 6-7 assists per game...and terrible defense.
Is it wrong to want a player that might average 14-15 points and 8-9 assists per game with elite defense?
Thats what frank projects out to be to me.
