I've been saying all off-season and if you didn't see it last night I don't know what to tell you.

The Knicks offense doesn't look any different than when Melo was here. Bunch of mid-range shots, terrible pick and rolls. Hernangomez is the only one that understands how to play at this point in a team setting.

So many possessions with 4 guys around the three point line with NO MOVEMENT!

Meanwhile, the Nets, a team with near playoff talent is about pace and passing. Everyone understands their role. Never giving up on D or the offensive board.

Lin on Porzingis
:scust:
That's the difference between Kenny Atkinson and Jeff Hornacek.

Hornacek needs to go.

Just looking around the league I wonder if the Knicks could trade KOQ to the spurs for Kyle Anderson. Maybe add that Bulls Second for the Spurs Late 1st too due to the difference in skill level. Anderson is like a Diaw Light and could be a real good match as a 3/4 on this team. The only real knock on him is he isn't a running type of player.

Zero minutes for Hernangomez :gucci:

:francis: I am pretty sure they want to build KOQ value up. Also I am looking at Horn like "this year is a a throw away" but I would like to see some coaching improvements once the real season starts.
Dotson was the biggest bright spot tonight, Hardaway may have had more points but Dotson definitely had the better game. Tim has to do more than just score out there.

He reminds me a lot of Lee. With some development he could be a really good piece.

If I'm not mistaken, Kanter had yesterday off and Willy got tn off. So no worries just yet, but the logjam has me sweating too.

That'd be a nice return. Lee is a chip too, I love dudes game but we should find a playoff team with a decent asset to return.

I'll tell you what though, Tim is a really great open court player. I'd like to see him out there with Frank and Dotson fishing for stops and letting Tim take off or pass. Dotson is looking like a really nice find but it's early, I think he's earned a rotation place for sure.
