This tank is gonna become unbearable for some of yall... The team right now is running experimental line-ups like a Larry Brown season coaching the Knicks; there's no continuity and not enough healthy defenders on the roster to make a difference. So it's gonna be ugly before it gets better, but we knew that. Frank and KP not being healthy out there makes this more painful than it should be. The positives? Dotson all day for me. Dude plays defense and chases down boards like a forward would, his jumper is better than the early returns too. Willy gets minutes with NBA level players and instant double-doubles. The vet PG's won't be keeping Frank off the floor, they're blatant back-ups and not particularly good ones for that matter. We've got some possible trade chips. Teams like a Lance Thomas work ethic, Lee and KOQ are good pieces for a rotation that I think should garner decent returns. Most of all though...we're in the race for the top pick and that player will be a game changer. Will they turn us around over night? Hell no. The flexibility to make a logical fitting roster is probably not gonna be available until 2019, but Frank, KP and a Porter Jr. with Willy, Dotson, etc. around them would give us a clear core to build around with the next batch of cap space. It'll prolly be TOUGH to watch early though.

I'm sorry Knick fans but y'all are crazy. You guys wanted Melo gone, begging for a proper tank, and painting KP as the second coming. Now you are getting what you want and KP is not meeting your absurd expectations, y'all are losing it. Like I said before in another thread a long time ago, Knicks are going to Knicks with or without Melo.

LOL@ baker will be the defensive savior i swear this shyt will be great as KP gets exposed for not having that dog in him and baker will be on the bench for some reason having a blue and orange rhinestone dollar sign on his warmups. Knicks better get a franchise player with one of the top 3 picks and move KP to his sidekick role because he ain't that franchise dude

He's being rushed into the role
knick fans who actually watch him play regularly and arent bias can see this
hopefully he finds a way to pull through it this year
they are not leaving up with a lot to work with
knicks are the deepest at the position he plays which is also dumb

Pretty much overtime a major star leaves a team the NBA "rewards" that team in the next Draft. Knicks will probably get the #1 pick if not in 2018 or the next when Zion comes out. The tank is real (if it wasn't the past 3 years:skip:). It's time for fans to just "trust the process".:manny:
