do some of yall still think willy and frank are untouchable??:hhh:
Neither was ever untouchable. I think most people wanted to see Willy's growth this season and weren't wiling to see him go until there was some time to evaluate. Frank hasn't played half a season yet and it was known he would be a dude that would take time to come along. Moving Willy is one thing, getting rid of Frank anytime soon would be yet another "same ol Knicks" move.

willy isnt a long in the tooth always ready ass vet
dude needs reps and minutes to play to be effective
being the 3rd big is stiffling his development. i dont blame hornacek for putting him back there...but when oquinn is doing bone head shyt which is every other game :francis: his hook needs to be as short as it is for willy

These past few games have shown me that the Knicks have the potential to a great team but they need another good to great player in order to be that team.

The Knicks should go back into tank mode. Plain and simple.

If y'all disagree with me then :yeshrug:.
Been saying we in dangerous territory.
We good enough to squeeze into the playoffs but nothing past a second round for sure.
We need to go for it big.
Tank for one more piece.

I think it's more a case of everything happening quick around here. New York sports fans might be the most impatient fans on Google Earth Nas:manny:Can any of you recall the last legit rebuilding period you've witnessed as a fan of a NY sports franchise?:patrice:We always want to win and we never want to have to wait for it. So that's how you end up signing Tim Hardaway Jr. to a ton of money when you drafted him in the first place. It's how the Jets have been trotting out veteran, win now QBs on teams that aren't making the playoffs. The Yankees struck gold, but they were in the process of undergoing the closest thing that franchise can get to rebuilding. The Giants win the Super Bowl whenever it looks like they might be going through lean years:pachaha: So because things happen quickly here, we overrate the good shyt (Linsanity) but we're also quick to shyt on anyone that's not giving us the results we want in the time frame we want them(Kanter, Geno Smith, any hitter on the Yanks or Mets going through a slump, lol). This Knicks team is fun to watch and as Knicks fans we've been watching trash for the better part of 20 years, so our hopes get way too high, way too soon. We start talking about playoff seeding when in all reality, we're watching a team that needs to be judged on a game by game basis.
