i just notice how a lot of knick fans (mayb other fans too i dunno) over value player that havent accomplished anything
I think it's more a case of everything happening quick around here. New York sports fans might be the most impatient fans on Google Earth Nas

Can any of you recall the last legit rebuilding period you've witnessed as a fan of a NY sports franchise?

We always want to win and we never want to have to wait for it. So that's how you end up signing Tim Hardaway Jr. to a ton of money when you drafted him in the first place. It's how the Jets have been trotting out veteran, win now QBs on teams that aren't making the playoffs. The Yankees struck gold, but they were in the process of undergoing the closest thing that franchise can get to rebuilding. The Giants win the Super Bowl whenever it looks like they might be going through lean years

So because things happen quickly here, we overrate the good shyt (Linsanity) but we're also quick to shyt on anyone that's not giving us the results we want in the time frame we want them(Kanter, Geno Smith, any hitter on the Yanks or Mets going through a slump, lol). This Knicks team is fun to watch and as Knicks fans we've been watching trash for the better part of 20 years, so our hopes get way too high, way too soon. We start talking about playoff seeding when in all reality, we're watching a team that needs to be judged on a game by game basis.
