KP is making you guys too good. Really all you need is a shot at MSU's Bridges who would be the perfect fit.
He really is but you can’t complain cause at least it’s him. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed since he and frank need that last lottery pick. They’d have their last star and be practically set especially if we steal Giannis when he’s a fa.

I can't see Giannis leaving Milwaukee. They are better suited moving forward

If Phoenix called and inquired about Hernangomez & offered

Greg Monroe(Expiring Contract) for Hernangomez (Odd Man Out), Kuzminskas (27 Years Old), Noah(The Crypt Keeper).

Would y'all do it?

To be clear, fukk Monroe, but his expiring contract and the ability to shed Noah's albatross would be compelling.

--------------------------------------

What's our depth chart right now, brehs?

PG: Jack/Frank/Baker/Sessions
SG: Timmy/Lee
SF: Lee/McDermott/Lance/ Beasley/Kuzminskas
PF: KP/Lance/Beasley/Kuzminskas
C: Kanter/O'Quinn/Hernangomez/Noah

Outside of PG & Center...do we even have clear positions anymore? Sheesh

Can’t Lie Would Really Like To See Us Get Another 1st Rounder Like @Malta Said
The east is weak though and they didn't strip down every valuable piece . They are at least giving KP a chance to develop without being sixers tanking . However we still may wind up with a highish pick idk if KP can keep this up and if he does and frank improves we may be able to sign help as well. If KP keeps this up means we got a young top 5 player definitely makes pairing him with others a possibility in the future

Monroe is the most wanted co tract right now and he's likely to be cut as everyone wants PHX to take a bad contract back in return. I would trade our 2nd and Bazemore for Monroe but Phoenix won't

If the Knicks play well enough all season to make the 8th seed or fall out of the lottery, than obviously losing out on 1 of the top 4 picks is not going to be a killer. For the simple fact that KP is alot better than we all thought he'd be. shyt let Phil tell, this was gonna be the 1st year he started contributing!

So we're ahead of schedule a bit. Now imagine next year when Frank comes back stronger, more aggressive in attacking the basket, and develops a floater. With those arms his floater will be unstoppable. We can still add a piece late lottery and thru FA.

I know a lot of you are in love with this Doncic kid. Some of you are also the same one that were in love with Hezonja. That's who Doncic reminds me of. And look at Mario now. IJS. They both looked great in Euro ball but unless you're a 7'3 unicorn like KP, is that gonna translate over here? I don't see anything transcendant about Doncic's game.

Porter and Ayton? I won't lament on missing out on those skinny cats either. I need to do more research on Bamba. But yeah this year has me...I don't wanna say excited...but I can see light at the end of the tunnel with our 2 main young pieces now. I don't think it'd be a death sentence to the rebuild (which is well underway already) by not getting a lottery pick.

The type of fan I am, this is all I ask for. Exciting competitive basketball and to root with confidence for my team to win. My self esteem is not tied to the Knicks winning a chip in my lifetime. For those that were around in 99, remember how dope that run was? Did it feel like a failure that we didn't win it all?

KOQ has one me over this year and I hope he sticks around. But is anyone else anxious like me when he dunks? KOQ has no elevation. He does "fatboy dunks" like a friend of mine used to say.

Courtney Lee has a good 1st step and can create his own shot off the dribble. He needs to attack the rim more.

I'm kinda a McBuckets fan.

Why the fukk......................................................was Ron Baker resigned???? To actual NBA player money??? Dude proved in 3 games he has no position in the NBA. Not even a real combo guard! No handles to run point and not a good enough shooter to be a 2. WTF???

I spent half a season hyping the chemistry between Starbury and MICHAEL DOLEAC fam. For two years, Chris Duhon was my starting PG and I didn't bat an eye. When we gave away our draft picks, it was at least we have RANDOLPH MORRIS aka the steal. Wax poetic on Ricky Ledo's stint or Travis Wear's run and I'll school you on rosters with Jackie Butler or Ime Udoka. Jerome James' one playoff series was enough to eat a big Knicks contract and never come close to value, but I sat through it. You thought Melo was unwatchable breh? I was there when Al Harrington was our leading scorer. Jamal Crawford was supposed to be our STARTING POINT GUARD fam. It wasn't easy either, because I grew up while Spree, Houston and Camby gave us an identity after Ewing, Ward and Oakley...we signed Shandon Anderson and Howard Eisley to follow those names. You know what it's like to go from learning about an NYK mentality from John Starks and Anthony Mason winning sixth man awards to watching Lee Nailon be our tone setter while Frank Williams and Lavor Postell are supposed to be the city style ballers? Listen yall, I hope the bandwagon explodes while KP and Frank grow into a tandem we can TRULY be proud of because I think we earned that. But the newcomers just gotta understand that if they can't recognize names like Bruno Sundov and Moochie Norris; then I don't expect them to get it. But I been through a lot fam and if you been riding like I have, I just wanna say...we deserve this, however fleeting the feeling is, we deserve this. I just sat in a bar in South Carolina, SCREAMING as the Knicks closed out the Hornets and when I left the bartender made my victory shot a double. Cats next to me dapped me and congratulated me for KP's success. We been through it fam, almost two decades of struggle...enjoy the damned ride while you can.
You brought what has been a blur of suppressed memories and forgotten years back :mjcry:

Man believe it or not I closed my eyes when KP started going to the basket :snoop::dead:

TBH in the first half I was fearing that this would be the "let-down" game after the huge comeback against Indiana and all the good feelings, type of game where we're sent back to earth. But this group of Knicks ain't down for that :obama:

Obviously we would like them to not have to make all these comebacks, but the resiliency they show is great. Multiple times it looked like Charlotte was a bucket away from sealing the deal...they just couldn't get it. I like what Hornacek is doing, keeping whoever is playing well on the court.

This was beautiful man. All of us Knicks fans have been through a lot of dark times in the past 17 years. I'm so happy to see the Knicks have 2 young stars in the making and them actually playing well.

It feels so good man:wow:.

So I woke up today and I am still conflicted as to how this season is playing out so far. On one hand I do want the Knicks to keep winning because I would love to see what a playoff run could look like. Also, while I have wanted to tank for the past few years to get picks I do legitimately think we have a player we can build around now. I haven't been able to say that about ANY Knick since I was a young kid man. With this kind of talent you generally don't want to embrace a couple of more losing seasons as Kristaps continues to develop. The idea would be that a smart free agent signing is eventually going to happen.

Then on the other hand I see what the 76ers are brewing out there with Ben Simmons, Embiid and Fultz if he comes back this year. The biggest difference however is that the 76ers were in a shytty position because of all the injuries. I am not convinced that the tank would have lasted as long had Embiid and assuming Simmons (if he was legitimately hurt) stayed on the floor :manny:

Either way, it's good to finally feel optimistic. This franchise has annoyed me more than all other NY teams combined since 2000. No LeBron or CP3 though, that's a legacy contract at that point and the Knicks cannot afford to hand one of those out for maybe a 1-2 year window only to lose to the celtics or warriors
