My crazy post of the week...

I would actually like to see what Jeremy Lin would look like with this squad for shyts and giggles.

shyt, just for the garden fukkery. A veteran Lin and KP on a night in the garden when they are both on it would literally test the roof off the arena.:wow:

Don't take this post that serious.

Nah... don’t need a bunch of “fans” asking why KP doesn’t defer to Lin...

Speaking of pipe dreams... I keep praying a guy like Brandon Ingram falls out of grace in LA cause he’s the PERFECT wing to pair with KP (if we can’t find one in the draft obviously).

I keep thinking Justise Winslow or Crowder would be great....... but this team is performing so well I am hesitant to say make a trade

:francis:

No such things as a good Knick trade.....
Every win I start thinking maybe this team is legit. So just ride it out and see what happens. Also KOQ looks like he is worth a first rounder out there. He's definitely a high quality Bench Big

The team is performing well but we gotta start looking at what is putting us in these holes to begin with. If KP didn't go super sayian every night we'd be WOAT.

I really hope they're just trying to get Kanters trade value up

Been watccibg the games in silence cause I thought the thread would be full of arguing :yeshrug: but I'm glad KP stepping up . Don't love Enes on defense but he's trying on the boards and his offense :takedat: . Using the league pass Towns looking really sus :picard: his defense might as well be a broken turnstile at 34 street . KP looking like the best player to come from that draft hands down . He definitiely is a unicorn. Frank hmm see potential in him as well .

Who's been the second best player on this team so far??? It's probably between Lee or Kanter, but I'd pick Lee personally because I value his three point shooting(40%), perimeter defense, basketball IQ and underrated secondary playmaking on this team. Plus, I can't stand watching Kanter's horrific defense. :scusthov:

What's crazy is damn near every role player is taking their turn to step up. You could even argue that KOQ is for holding down the second squad the way he has been. He's out there doing everything.

I spent half a season hyping the chemistry between Starbury and MICHAEL DOLEAC fam. For two years, Chris Duhon was my starting PG and I didn't bat an eye. When we gave away our draft picks, it was at least we have RANDOLPH MORRIS aka the steal. Wax poetic on Ricky Ledo's stint or Travis Wear's run and I'll school you on rosters with Jackie Butler or Ime Udoka. Jerome James' one playoff series was enough to eat a big Knicks contract and never come close to value, but I sat through it. You thought Melo was unwatchable breh? I was there when Al Harrington was our leading scorer. Jamal Crawford was supposed to be our STARTING POINT GUARD fam. It wasn't easy either, because I grew up while Spree, Houston and Camby gave us an identity after Ewing, Ward and Oakley...we signed Shandon Anderson and Howard Eisley to follow those names. You know what it's like to go from learning about an NYK mentality from John Starks and Anthony Mason winning sixth man awards to watching Lee Nailon be our tone setter while Frank Williams and Lavor Postell are supposed to be the city style ballers? Listen yall, I hope the bandwagon explodes while KP and Frank grow into a tandem we can TRULY be proud of because I think we earned that. But the newcomers just gotta understand that if they can't recognize names like Bruno Sundov and Moochie Norris; then I don't expect them to get it. But I been through a lot fam and if you been riding like I have, I just wanna say...we deserve this, however fleeting the feeling is, we deserve this. I just sat in a bar in South Carolina, SCREAMING as the Knicks closed out the Hornets and when I left the bartender made my victory shot a double. Cats next to me dapped me and congratulated me for KP's success. We been through it fam, almost two decades of struggle...enjoy the damned ride while you can.
The NBA was much weaker, for the most part, all teams had these so-so NBA players outside of the obvious superstars.

I'm happy to see another great comeback win.

Things I took away:

Jarrett Jack hit two shots that helped stopped the bleeding.

Tim Hardaway needs to attack the basket when the threes ain't fallin'.

McDermott with that huge 4-point play helped turn the momentum.

I felt KP should have been brought in around the 7-8 minutes mark. But Hornacek probably wanted to teach KP, Hardaway, etc a lesson by leaving them on the bench for a good portion of the 4th.

To be .600 after 10 games is a very pleasant surprise. However, I'd like the Knicks to start off a little better and not become reliant on come from behind victories - that can be fool's gold, especially on the road.

I haven't been this excited as a Knicks fan for a while, to hear the garden buzzin' again is definitely a good feeling. I hope this trajectory continues.
