Nah, that's the last thing they should do, clearing caproom for Bron means the only way for them to improve the roster if you got him would be to trade away young players. So, you can say goodbye to Frank, Hernangomez and whatever draft pick you get, and Kristaps would be used like Kevin Love, mostly a spot up shooter.


Just grow the team through the draft, if you clear space for anyone it should be with long term plans in mind of signing the Greek kid in Milwaukee in 2021.

Kristaps is turning into an isolation scorer in the mid post, you forgot what Kevin Love looked like before he joined the Cavs, he used to play in the low post & mid post as a passer a lot. Just because Kristaps is better doesn't mean he wouldn't be used the same way as Love is right now, what his game is becoming does not mesh with how LeBron has played the last 15 years. Bosh before he joined the Heat was a monster in the mid post as well.


Also, LeBron will probably be seeking a 4 year deal since this is probably his final contract, you really want a 37 year old LeBron making $45 million? LeBron to a more ready made team makes a lot more sense than him pairing up with a 22 year old, especially since it would probably gut the young talent as he'd push for trades to be made.
