What's there to respect?

I honestly couldn't care less nowadays. Got better things to worry about.

I like messing with users trying to front, though. My go to question is "so how do you work past plateaus." The answer usually tells me everything.

What is there really to respect about someone being dedicated to lifting weights and not taking steroids? This is an odd question because I don't really respect n1ggas based off anything that has to do with the weight room

Exactly. It takes more than moving iron around to garner respect. Admiration on the other hand...

I think OP meant respect as in the mutual respect that athletes have for one another.

Edit: and who the hell here has juiced. I've seen it be alluded to in a couple threads already.

If ur not playing a professional sport or competing then I don't see anything wrong with using steroids....

I hear people saying that it's cheating. But that's stupid, it's their body and they are the only person who is effected by it so who exactly is getting cheated?

nah

because there's this misconception that all you have to do is take roids and you automatically have an amazing body. to take steroids and have a professional looking body - top to bottom - takes work. A work ethic higher than your average gym-goer. so if a nikka take roids and is looking godlike, of course imma respect him, cos he put in work :manny:

For aesthetics and whatnot....I'm indifferent. As people mentioned earlier, it still takes work to get use out of em.

Now as far as athletic competition goes....nah.

No dog, there is no misconseption at all that you will have an amazing body automatically, a huge raise in testosterone allows you to have a higher work ethic than you're average gym-goer...
True, but having the capacity to do more doesn't mean one will properly take advantage of it. You still need a solid routine, and you still need to master diet etc. etc. So in that regard, I still have respect for folks who use and have world class physiques. Its not like you can use them, not lift, and gian muscle.

nah

work ethic has nothing to do with whether you take steroids or not. if you the kinda nikka that works for 45minutes and spend most of that time socializing and doing low intensity shyt, taking on steroids will not turn you into a workaholic

most of the dudes with those professional bodies go to the gym 2-3 times a day and eat sleep and breathe training

"respect" seems like the wrong word to use.

i guess im more impressed with people that achieve their results natually since i know it takes more work. but we have access to all sorts of supplements to make things easier on us...sounds kinda ridiculous to fault someone for taking that path. 2 people going from san diego to la...one rides a bike the other drives a car. im more impressed by the guy on the bike...but if i had the option id rather just drive a car.

I really don't care. As far as athletes goes... You almost gotta if you wanna level that playing field.

Your favorite boy on the court/field/ring prolly juices and doesnt feel bad about it at all because so is the other guy.
