Same exact thing in my case. Hopefully once the fitbit syncs with the phone it will update the number of steps on the PACER app. If not, oh well not going to stress about it.

Don't need premium lol but if u don't want to use your phone makes sense. Have to open the app every 3 days for it to sync with your Fitbit appI ended up uninstalling lol reason I got the Fitbit was to not use my phone or a dedicated app for tracking, plus the premium and there persistent notification bothered me, good luck to yall tho get them steps

It doesn't when I walk the treadmill if you don't swing your watch won't pick it up. My pacer pulls from my watch appI do most of my walking at my standing desk, but i noticed if i dont swing my arms, my apple watch doesnt pick up the activity. And when i keep my phone in my pocket Pacer doesnt pick up my strides
I usually hit the Peleton tread or the tread at the gym to get most of my steps. The rest is just general walking around at work, home, errands etc.I do most of my walking at my standing desk, but i noticed if i dont swing my arms, my apple watch doesnt pick up the activity. And when i keep my phone in my pocket Pacer doesnt pick up my strides
Yeah the pacer app is pretty inconsistent but that's been my experience with most of these types of apps. Like I said I just do what I do and what it records will be my contributionI do most of my walking at my standing desk, but i noticed if i dont swing my arms, my apple watch doesnt pick up the activity. And when i keep my phone in my pocket Pacer doesnt pick up my strides
