Enemy Tomorrow is dope AF.

Am I the only fan that wished Nas spit on certain tracks by himself instead of giving a featured artist a verse? ... and regardless of how dope the other artist's verse may have been, you still wish Nas did it dolo? Here is my list:

Enemy Tomorrow
Sometimes I Wonder
Triple Threat
One Never Knows
I Want It
Pray
Never Too Late

Lmao, technically he was by himself on I Want It

It was so painfully obvious he wrote Horse & Money bags verses :pachaha:

Nature should've never signed to Trackmasters, it tanked his career

We were supposed to get another Firm album in 99-00 as well
I don’t know if I could fault him for making that move. For All Seasons is still a dope album.

I wasn't referring to him writing it. I was saying that I wish he would have been the only one to spit on the tracks.

I hadn't listened to Live from the Bridge in a long time, song is hilarious...

I bend bytches like bike frames
My tight game will make Hilary leave Bill quick as lightning
I'll have her wearin' tight jeans
Givin' nice brains in a white Range

Out of pure curiosity what would you rank each of the post-God's Son albums, on a 1-5 scale

God son 3/5
Street disciple to Nasir all get a 1 or 2 / 5

Anything past that, king disease, magic etc haven't even heard it

My music relationship with Nas (pause) is complex

Interesting. How do you rank Illmatic through Stillmatic, on a 1-5 scale.

Also, feature on Journey Through The Life

totally a bizarre and just wild verse, goes from digging in animals eye with a stick, sacrificing goats (probably A Devils Advocate reference)

"roll with killers and criminals, wit heroin habits they picked up in the penal"

throws some subs at Jay

"grown ladies throw themselves off the roof, nikkaz get paged then murdered at the phone booth"

How does that "grown ladies throw themselves off the roof, nikkaz get paged then murdered at the phone booth" connect to Jigga?

time frame question:

when did the Eye For An Eye Freestyle come out? It was on a Clue tape right

Remember first hearing it starting high school, so around late 2000

@B1G_controversy

it doesn't, just the way my post reads, he starts off in the occult, goes to the grimy street shyt, throws some shots at Jay, and then closes with a bleak portrayal of street life
