Honestly when people brought there iPhones the first time, they invested there money in the Apple ecosystem.....convinceing someone to abandon the apps on the iPhone and rebuying them on another platform gotta be near impossible....it's gonna be awhile before Android or Windows dominate.....I think most people would overlook faults just for that reason

You're right. I was literally at the store yesterday about to cop an S3 when I realized I had 4 years of poker and workout stats in my iPhone that I would lose. Now I gotta wait 21 days for the 5 to come in.

b b but i can download torrents on my android :cape:

these standroids niccas as delusional as it gets...features iphone can't do out the box are life changing....things the android can't do rooted or otherwise that the iphone can do throw those features in the bushes :birdman:

Android is the #1 platform and the numbers will only continue to grow. Apples biggest challenge might be microsoft because its not going to catch android

I personally haven't had a new problem with the maps app yet. AND I have used it quite a bit.
I like how it works with siri, and I can just say "take me to ........." and it willmap it up and give me a few routes to choose from.
I initially did it with routes I already knew just to test it, but then I started plugging in new areas that I go to while travelling around.

so far, I haven't been lost or made to do anything stupid.

I'm not gonna say its perfect, especially based on reports. but me PERSONALLY? I haven't had an issue yet with the map app.

I think it was blown WAAAY out of proportion. but like with most new things, ppl try to look for the negatives and exagerrate them just for a story.

the iPhone 5 was the biggest thing this year so obviously all these news outlets are gonna be all over it. and nothing sells more papers like bad news

I havent personally had a maps issue but its obviously a big problem if apple apologized for it publicly. If you cant drive anywhere without precise turn by turn directions then you have bigger problems in your life.

Android s/w will dominate because it's FREE Not necessarily better to the masses, iphone H/w dominates....:youngsabo::skip:

if ios was free I'm sure 90% of devices would carry it and android would of been Linux status....:umad:
