Maybe create a list of things you would like to do, such as projects, or ideas you would like to focus on each week within the 90 day period.

Have this list accessible somewhere to set as a reminder for you to focus on these "things to do" instead stroking the stranger.

If that doesn't do it, find a random activity to do outside, run around the block a few times.
