Appreciate the kindness but clinical depression is different from sadness. I'm not depressed, I'm miserable.
Breh, as someone who's beating that shyt, trust me - if you've felt this way longer than a month or two (I forget the official length) its worth checking out. I was convinced my life was just miserable because it was my life and that was just something I had to live with. Absolutely not the case.
No shame in it at all. If you have people in your family/circle that will shame you for it, those aren't people you want to keep around.
Some time with a psychiatrist and a good Rx will get you started. May take some time to find the right drug & dose, but once you find it, you'll know - you just won't be miserable any longer. Just try and stay as functional as possible for now and get yourself in to see someone.
