Speaking of perfect, Joe being MJF's first heel to feud with is that segment ran a little long, as most MJF segments do, but I gotta say that I love the fact that he's the same character he's always been but with very little changes that add to his character development. He's still insecure, he's still a man child, but he's trying to be better/grow up. It's pretty dope considering wrestling almost never has this type of storytelling.

The show was pretty good. Swerve /Hangman and Joe/MJF/Cole/Roddy build was cool. There really wasn't any blow away matches but it was an entertaining show. As for the Main event Darby and Nick Wayne was okay but I get why they invested the time sometimes you gotta play your rookies early.

I don't think he's necessarily bad. He's really good for being 18 years old, but the kid has no charisma/character whatsoever. He needs to find a character before being prominently showcased like he is.

There's been a change somewhere. Some said it was Punk and some said it was Danielson. Some said it was a combination along with Jacobs and Washington etc. but whatever it is, they seem to be making the necessary changes to their storytelling..

TK did mention the other day that he wants to make sure Collision feels like a different show than Dynamite. So we'll see how that goes.

But for longterm building.. they let Cole and MJF cook which they likely wouldn't have done a few months ago. Now they are building up Joe and MJF in a way that you never see from AEW... even the Swerve and Hangman build was something you wouldn't have seen months ago.
