Unless it's MJF or some big signing (is there any FA that would even qualify as that at this point?), there isn't going to be any name that's going to create any buzz. Especially if the match is early in the card.

His merch sells too. I mean not at CM Punk's level, no one else in AEW is even close to him in merch sales, but Cole is in that next tier.

I liked him a lot in NXT and ROH, I just don't think he has been booked well in AEW.

IMO if Cole does return, I think they'll use him to cost The Elite the trios titles so the program with Omega can get started.

Been cool on AEW lately…questionable booking but I’ll be tuned in. They need a good PPV to get back on track.

If Jade doesn't lose the TBS belt this weekend, the only sensible end game for her eventually dropping the belt is having one of the world title caliber wrestlers "dropping down" to compete for it. Think someone like Britt, Shida, Nyla Rose, Rosa, etc.

I want them to win, but at the same time it would be pretty shytty to do that to Swerve and Keith Lee. They've only had one title defense in a glorified squash match against Private Party.

I think it would be the best for the brand on TV, but that might not go over well int eh locker room. Have them drop the the belts and Khan is basically admitting on PPV that Swerve and Lee never really deserved to win the belts.
