167.4 is the lightest canelo has weighed since the billy Joe fight. Most of the time he comes in right at 168. So they definitely know they gotta come in light and quick. Gotta see if he can keep the weight down though. Can still bulk up too much overnight.

This is Erikson Lubin's chance to be great. This might be literally his make or break moment. I'm rooting for him

Oscar isn't wrong though, Caleb Plant was doing/trying to do a lot of the same things Bivol was doing in his fight with Canelo, but Caleb Plant has no power and his stamina is shyt so he couldn't pull it off. Charlo has never fought at this weight so I wonder if he will have the same gas tank and even more importantly I think the same pop in his punches to actually pull it off like Bivol. Say what you want, the shyt Bivol was doing would not have worked on Canelo if Canelo didn't respect his power, cause Plant was trying to do the same thing and Canelo just started walking him down before too long because he knew nothing coming his way was gonna get him out of there.

I hope to God Charlo is not looking at Bivol or Mayweather or even Caleb Plant and trying to implement that into his game plan. He does not have that skillset
