i believe at some point his hand will be forced & he'll NEED to fight Spence or one of the other WW's to solidify his position

Spence said Haymon told him the business isn’t right for a Crawford fight, whatever that means.
He said if he don’t fight Crawford next year it probably ain’t happening.
People here hate Bob Arum so already know where the blame going but with no details it’s impossible to know who bullshytting and why. Some how the “business is right” for fury vs wilder and that arguably is a bigger fight with more money to fight over so can’t call it but it ain’t as simple as them not working together

I believe Crawford at some point will force the issue because he needs that fight more than Spence

yup. That last Bud fight looked like Martin vs Tommy Hearns episode quality wise :mjlol:

Idk why these dudes sign with trash promoters

Word
I won't say Top Rank is trash, but I do feel like they been trash for certain boxers. TR definitely getting Bud paid, but his legacy taking a hit.

If i was haymon I'd freeze Crawford and top rank in general out. Bob Arum deserves that treatment from Al. Hate that Crawford has to be collateral damage but oh well.

I think Haymon is already freezing Crawford out. Who here was begging for a Porter vs. Spence fight?
I damn sure wasn't, and really wasn't after Porter fought Ugas. Now I'm about to pay $75 for something most ppl believe has a foregone conclusion
Garcia, Thurman, and Mikey all will be available in early 2020. All them trying get a Manny fight, none of them mentioning Crawford as a potential opponent at all. Not even in the context of missing out on a Manny fight. Spence seems to be the only one remotely interested in fighting Crawford on the PBC side and his manager not making it easy cause it's better for them to keep it in house and make more money

What haymon really meant was "you ain't ready for crawford" yet. Haymon wants to let Spence get some more experience under his belt first. I'm shocked to see Spence is only getting 2 mil for this fight. That shyt is ridiculous. Crawford made 5.5 million minimum for the khan fight. For a fight of this magnitude, spence should be getting no less than 5 mil guaranteed. Seems like all the PBC guys max out around 2 mil

I'm not saying haymon thinks he would lose. But crawford is the more polished fighter as of right now. I'm sure haymon would rather spence get a couple more solid fights under his belt. Experience is so crucial in boxing. And with spence/crawford being 50-50 fight, A matchup against porter could possibly make the difference in spence winning or losing vs Crawford. Spence needs fights like tonight's to take his game to the next level.
