It was an impressive win by Spence but not a impressive performance. When he came into the ring the first thing I noticed was how dry he was. Like very dry compared to how he usually looks. On top of that I could see he wasn't as strong or fast as usual. The bad habits are catching up with him a lot nowadays and it's only a matter of time before he pays for them with an L. He's so good that he can beat Porter not at full strength. The Spence that fought Brook steam rolls Shawn. Honestly Spence coming into the ring looked A LOT like Hurd did earlier this year against Jrock.

Yeah if we going based off how p4p should be ranked only Manny or Canelo has a real argument for #1 or #2.

This generation of fighters wasn't built up and developed properly or something because a 40 year old Pacquiao shouldn't still be able to be ranked so high in a division full of 'killers' at welter, experience or not. These guys need to fight more than twice a year hate to say it, they Spence, Crawford, Loma etc. all have skills and talent, but they are all lacking experience in the ring. Porter is good, but he shouldn't be able to have a dog fight with a p4p guy. Crawford should of stopped one legged Benavidez in 3 rounds, Loma looked like shyt against Luke Campbell of all people.

If 30 year old Manny came back today he would dog walk the whole welterweight division, because while he started out raw when he was young he developed with every fight something these guys don't seem to do. Loma wouldn't of been able to hang with the likes of an Eric Morales or Juan Manuel Marquez, or a Marco Antonio Barrera, and I think it's because they flat out don't fight enough to get that experience they need.

manny is old. i dont have the same confidence in him beating everybody put before him in a hypothetical match in 2019 that i have in canelo, therefore canelo is better today. in no way shape or form is canelo losing to somebody like jeff horn at any weight, even at 175.

Been a Spence fan for minute. Glad he finally got some "just due"...

My homies were rootin for Porter to take the fight. One actually calls himself a boxing afficinado and predicted Spence would be a walkover for Porter....

Had Spence slightly ahead of Porter, most of the fight. Porter is definitely a dog. At times (especially early), his aggression and power, had me a little...

I felt that it was more in Spence's head tho. Porter been thru some wars...but Spence has the talent. Spence just had to get past his own self-doubt.

Porter thought he was gonna overwhelm him, and once it became apparent Spence was poised...it was game over...

Porter getting wobbled solidified the W.
Let's be clear...Porter's fighting style forced Spence to fight an ugly fight. Porter took him to that place...and Spence overcame the adversity...


As far as Im concerned...if I was Spence, Porter gets no rematch until I solidify my destiny/legacy...

He's a trap fight, but will always be top tier B level to the Porter fans...

He's no champ. He's just happy to be there. Always the last walkover...and the last henchman you gotta beat to face the final boss...

As far as Garcia goes...he wouldn't get a title shot from me, until he proved he could even beat Porter in a rematch...

Spence should treat these nikkas how they treated him tell them all to eat a dikk and fight each other

this was a hell of a fight...but from like round 5 on..akhmedov beat the shyt outta barrios out of sheer workrate...even more impressive since barrios dropped dude in round 4..he turned that shyt up...that last round KD barrios scored was good for tightening up the cards but it was too late..i had it 114-112 akmedov..but man them official scores were complete bullshyt...shyt was a robbery indeed....also cant sleep on these unknown WSB cats
