Porter is on the way down. Fight will be competitive but Spence will clearly beat him. I just wonder 2 things:

1) What style is Porter gonns be using. Is he gonna be the rabid Porter of old and make it a dog fight (which plays into Spence's hands) or is gonna be using his struggle ass movement with his football footwork like he's been employing more in his recent fights. Which is just as ugly to me because he looks more like a running back making cuts on the field than a boxer.

2) Is Spence gonna win by decision or is he gonna stop Porter. I see alot of people thinking Porter is gonna be easy work and Spence is gonna destroy Porter and KO him, but I don't think it's a given. Say what you want about Porter, but he's a tough fighter and I seen him eat alot of hard shots. But we'll see if he can take a sustained amount of punishment throughout the fight. But Porter is a warrior so I think he can take it. Plus lowkey, Spence's KOs haven't come as easy as they used to since he's stepped up his competition (I'm sure his stanbase will come at me for this, but it's true). If Spence stops Porter, I'll be very impressed and tip my cap to him

his knockouts haven't come as easy as they used to? before mikey ( who didn't fight back and shelled up the whole fight), he stopped Ocampo in round 2, before Ocampo, Lamont Petersons camp threw in the towel in round 7, before Peterson he stopped Kell Brook in the 11th...so in his last 3 knockouts, his average in rounds is 6.6......plus knockouts aint supposed to be easy when u step up, and aside from being touched up by kell brook....errol hasn't really been hit, so that seem pretty easy to me

Kell was stopped because he quit, which I don't blame him because of his previous eye injury. But had he not quit, he would have been able to go the distance. And with Lamont, like you said his corner threw in the towel. He was taking some punishment, but he wasn't in imminent danger. Compare that stoppage to the Lucas Matthysse fight, and you'll seen real stoppage there.

So this idea that many people have of Spence just running through Porter and stopping him, I just don't see it. Porter isn't quitting like Brook, and I doubt his corner throws in the towel like Peterson's.

He didn't quit because of his previous eye injury, he quit because he was getting knocked upside his head and spence broke his OTHER eye and had he not quit and kept getting hit in that eye he might have ended up blind or something. And Lamont was gonna be in imminent danger of having brain problems after that if he would've kept getting punished because errol was starting to turn up on him, and him and lamont are friends so I'm sure he was glad it got stopped when it did. Shawn porter can not match spence skill for skill and he will be outclassed.....I could care less whether spence knocks him out or outclasses him for 12......but he will clearly show that he is miles better than porter and beat porter like no one else has.

I'm not even arguing it anymore bro, I'm gone let everyone be disappointed since they getting they hopes up with Porter. People really hate Spence and have started to create bullshyt narratives here recently(reminds me of another fighter from recent memory) to discredit anything he has done. I'm seeing on facebook now that Brook was damaged goods and Garcia aint a good boxer now, and people overrating Shawn Porter like he is a world beater, oh now Crawford is the boogeyman at 147 too... Nobody was saying all this shyt 6 months ago bruh. :snoop:

porter is an overachiever...someone who fights the way he does should have never won the fights he has...i think spence will win this because i think's porter's 147 days are coming to end

however 2 of spence's 3 best opponents were beaten more brutally and more quickly in lucas and triple gawd..in the case of triple gawd..because the beating was severe it took luster off spence winning the belt from brook..which is another unfortunate consequence

the mikey fight should have never been...and i said from jump this wasnt the fight..unfortunately he didnt stop or drop mikey either..so it is what it is

they creating the bullshxt narratives here and in the youtube comments on boxing channels, same way they did Floyd. I don't know why they keep doubting Spence talkin about they not impressed, NOBODY is beating there opponents as dominant as errol, NOBODY and I like bud Crawford, he my second favorite fighter, but he aint beating his opponents like errol has been. People talkin bout he duckin errol when truthfully errol has mentioned wanting to fight bud more often then bud mentions his name. Before the Kell Brook fight nobody was calling him Damaged goods, they were saying he was the most skilled WW and that Errol would lose over in London, now all of a sudden the brook win doesn't count and he was damaged. He wasn't fighting like he was damaged goods, Kell was strong and sharp in that fight and his injury didn't affect how he fought, if it wasn't for errols ability to adjust and level up , he would've lost to kell. People are starting to discredit errol just like they did Floyd and I really don't see why if you are a boxing fan. Errol is what u wanna see in a fighter, like the old school fighters.

Yup. People act like outside of maybe the first 5 rounds against Kell Brook(and even then watch that fight again, folks was saying Spence was getting a boxing lesson overlooking all the body work Spence was doing that allowed him to wash Brook for every round after 5 and stop him in 11) that Spence aint completely dominated everyone he's been in the ring with, and to the chagrin of all his haters, it aint about to stop with Porter. Like I said I can entertain Crawford doing it at this point, maybe. I have an eye for talent, Spence and Crawford are the only two fighters in this division that have that other level to their game. I would say Pacman maybe, but man he gassed out against Thurman, I aint ever seen Pacman gassed by the end of the fight he was looking like a 40 year old man.

who does Spence have to beat to have proven himself?

After seeing comments on Facebook boxing groups and youtube videos apparently Spence would have to outbox god before people will give him props. Even after the Mikey performance people are running with the 'one dimensional robotic narrative'. :mjlol:

Like I said I could understand if they was riding behind Crawford or even Pac this hard, but Porter :russ:, y'all settin yourself up for disappointment.

Porter will get beat up. No one ever knows whats inside a man's heart. And sometimes a man's heart won't let him fall. So I don't take into account KO's too much. All I know is Porter only has two options, just like all of Errol other opponents, get knocked out or beat up. And I dont see how anyone can hate on that.

How are spence and mikey good friends? That fight was a glorified sparring match because that's what Mikey made it by shelling up the whole fight, errol spence landed his career high punches and threw his career high in punches on mikey. All of errols sparring partners and himself, always say that he doesn't care if yall friends or not, when he is sparring or fighting he wanna hit you hard and hurt u, he not taking it easy.

Yeah but watch all of his fights then watch the Mikey fight. When Spence had everyone else hurt or on their heels he went for blood. When he knew he had Mikey beat he didn't step on the gas like he normally would have.

He also said he was real dehydrated that fight and didn't do any strength and conditioning for that fight either.....to my knowledge I don't think him and spence are any type of friends

There is no one in this world that can convince me Spence didn't carry Mikey after round 8 or so. Spence could have stopped him whenever he wanted. He knew he wouldn't get the credit and tried to box him. I think though ultimately he carried him...and I'm not going back and forth about that.

he possibly could've carried him, I know spence could've have turned up on him and knocked him out. He was in a lose lose situation because if he would've knocked him people would've made excuses and said he was too big, but even though he put on a masterclass boxing clinic, they still say "spence couldn't knock little mikey out"......which Is why I feel is about to make an example out of porter
