Ain't nobody but mega-hardcore fans of nerd-style wrasslin checking for either of those first two names, c'mon
All I know is I tune in wanting to see FTR, Lucha Bros, Hobbs, Stark, Wardlow, Miro, Andradae, Pac, etc, and I keep seeing this scrawny pizza goof, Luchasaurus, Yuta, Garcia, and more shyt that insults my time and intelligence. Then he has Hangmayne wasting time with them Dark Order jobbers, Bryan wrasslin what amounts to Make-a-Wish matches with guys who should be on Dark AT BEST instead of doing a serious programs carrying the strap, old ass Jericho shytting up tv time looking more washed than 4th generation hand-me-down draws instead of forcing him into a manager role and the list goes on and on.
It ain't all bad but it's damn sure way worse than it should be based on their roster. Putting on big boy britches ain't about giving special treatment for the friends of the boss (and their friends) and then trying to equally divide the rest of the time among the roster. You figure out which wrasslers the faithful and the potential audience BOTH wanna see and build everything around them. AEW is 3 years old and Tony ain't going against early onset dementia Vince anymore. As a returning lapsed wrasslin fan, I'm essentially the kind of new viewer they're looking to capture and they keep fumbling the ball with this amateur-hour horseshyt. I WANT AEW to succeed and continue to grow but it's time to stop grading them on a curve and call this shyt what it is.
