:dead: at busting out a avalanche piledriver in a match with no build on a random ass TV episode.

All these old people running around that Tony hired & can't nobody say maybe save that for a big match on PPV with an actual story. Or someone did & they just got ignored which is just as likely.

AEW taped matches for this week’s episode of Rampage after Dynamite, and the results are online. You can see the spoilers below for the episode, which airs Friday on TNT, per PwInsider:

* AEW Tag Team Championship Match: The Acclaimed def. Private Party and The Butcher and The Blade

* Jamie Hayter defeated Willow Nightingale

*Lee Moriarty defeated Fuego del Sol, after which W. Morrisey chokeslammed del Sol.

* Ryan Nemeth came out and cut as promo running down Philadelphia and took shots at ECW. HOOK came out, beat down Nemeth and put him in the Redrum. The Trust Busters came out left an envelope for HOOK, which he took and went to the back.

* Rush def. John Silver and then attacked Alex Reynolds and Silver. The Dark order ran in followed by The Butcher and The Blade before Hangman Page came down and cleared the ring.

Half the roster is dealing with hurricane stuff, idk if it’s fair to compare this to any other episode besides the Nightmare Factory shows.
Most of the AEW roster gets left off of the shows normally (Jay Lethal, for example, is back on the missing persons list). Tony's usual tv wrestlers were in Philly: Moxley, Danielson, Adam Page, Britt Baker, MJF, etc.
Last night's show being bad wasn't a roster issue, that blame lies solely with the booker.

Got damn, that was a good ass match. I was unsure how it would go, but it delivered. Bandido shined and Jericho has been hit or miss but he came through. :ehh:

I'm really surprised that they haven't signed Bandido. He was a part of All In and ROH, can go in the ring, and is only 27.

Someone needs to make a TK “awkward moments” thread. I’m sure @Brad Piff can do the honors since he’s surfing AEW content hourly on Twitter. :mjlol:

Seriously tho, someone gotta make one. :dead: :feedme:

Keep it all in the AEW Stinks 2.0 thread.

That's what's so infuriating about watching the show now. Tony has a strong ass roster that even more casual fans could fall in love with and he has no clue how to use them.

I’m surprised too, but dude would just flounder around like so many others. :francis:

I can’t believe the E hasn’t taken a shot at him. Dude is a modern day MYsterio. :ehh:

Na, man, dude does so much awkward shyt it needs its own thread. It’ll be like RG’s quotable thread. :mjlol:

They've floundered with masked wrestlers not named Mysterio under Vince, and even then Rey was established before he joined WWE. Maybe Triple H can change that, but yea, it's insane that they haven't made an effort to bring him in.

WWE always about wanting to be some pop culture thing and it's pretty hard for a person to get over in pop culture when you don't even see their face. Really only works with horror stuff - see Jason from Friday the 13th and etc.

I mean it can happen, but there's a reason why you never see Rey get any non-wrestling TV/movie spots. Same reason why NBA stars are generally so much more recognizable and marketable than NFL stars.
