Inoue showed some great counter punching today. I think he could have went for the knockout in the 12th but he knew he had the fight won on the cards and plus was showing respect to Donaire too. @Knicksman20 Called it though, Inoue leaves himself open to those clean right hands and admires his work a little too much. Donaire couldn't pull the trigger on the catch and shoot but these young guys out here that are hungry for the win eventually will . This better be a wake up call for Inoue. Great fight and now i got to get ready for work :pachaha:

Yeah bro I saw his flaws as clear as day. Monster is a damn good fighter but he's going to get KO'ed vicious if he doesn't tighten up his defense; particularly against the right hand. And I agree with you bro. The Nonito from 5-7 years ago sparks Monster & probably makes it look easy.

In the 5th round where Donaire was "hurt" (I don't think he was as hurt as the announcers or crowd thought) he was trying to catch & shoot Monster with a left hook. He tried several times but couldn't get it off like he used to

facts..all the wbss finals that have happened were all great high level stuff...and im sure the CW one will be too (with a brutal KO to boot)..the wbss needs to find a better way to market this in divisions that are political and get US promoters to handle for wbss fights there

Damn good fight & fight of the year for me so far. It was close & that knockdown sealed it. Props to Nonito for not only finishing the fight on his feet but trying to win still. 1st ballot HOF'er & the cleanest fighter in boxing during the PED era

That left hook to the right eye did it, besides the cut you could see that the right eye was enlarged compared to the left

monster is going to be down until at least april at the earliest...double vision is nothing to fukk around with

117-110

Couple of the middle rounds could of gone the other way but inoue was the clear winner.
Donaire put up a great effort and he could have turned it around after the 9th but inoue landed cleaner and heavier and you can see donaire wearing the punishment. Inoue held a pace that donaire couldnt keep up with at his age, wasnt relentless but consistent. It felt like it was just a matter of time before he got stopped but donaire showed heart. I have inoue ahead of usyk at 4 pfp. Inoue v nery hopefully next

Edit: ill keep usyk at 4 p40 actually, monster right behind though
