Donaire landing that one punch saved him from the big knockout there. probably over here though
Inoue showed some great counter punching today. I think he could have went for the knockout in the 12th but he knew he had the fight won on the cards and plus was showing respect to Donaire too. @Knicksman20 Called it though, Inoue leaves himself open to those clean right hands and admires his work a little too much. Donaire couldn't pull the trigger on the catch and shoot but these young guys out here that are hungry for the win eventually will . This better be a wake up call for Inoue. Great fight and now i got to get ready for work
Yeah bro I saw his flaws as clear as day. Monster is a damn good fighter but he's going to get KO'ed vicious if he doesn't tighten up his defense; particularly against the right hand. And I agree with you bro. The Nonito from 5-7 years ago sparks Monster & probably makes it look easy.
In the 5th round where Donaire was "hurt" (I don't think he was as hurt as the announcers or crowd thought) he was trying to catch & shoot Monster with a left hook. He tried several times but couldn't get it off like he used to
what was your overall impression bruh?
That left hook to the right eye did it, besides the cut you could see that the right eye was enlarged compared to the left
