Ok learn nothing then:manny:

It's funny whenever these smug threads pop up where nikkas wax about how much smarter they are than everyone else.

You would would think y'all would use some of that superior intellect to try to pinpoint apathetic people's issues and find a solution, thus gaining new potential allies in the voting booth:manny:

But y'all would rather stick to the pleasures of your high horsing so aight:manny:
Putting the cart before the horse. It is a little odd to expect the people that get elected without you to care about you. It is the citizen's job to elect politicians that will help them and not to hope the ones in power will help them regardless of their stance.

Also it is disingenuous to say no one runs that want to help people. They do run, but since a large portion of the electorate does not vote, the incumbents and/or bad politicians get elected/relected.

Non-voters are both rightfully apathetic and stupid at the same time. Most people whp adequately inform themselves knew the importance of this election and thus voted for Kamala. There's even data to support this. I'm all for trying to gain new allies but a lot Americans are just stupid. And there's nothing wrong with saying this. There was a time I was that non voter and it was because I was a fukking idiot. I didn't know when elections were being held, much less know who was running. And didn't care to know either. I was blissfully ignorant. And there's millions upon millions of Americans just like this.

Facts. And Trump is gonna be so bad but somehow the smug people on here claiming they’re gonna be saying “told you so” are not going to be negatively impacted by how bad Trump is allegedly gonna be. MFs acting like they’re about to inherit $800 million from their parents and be secure regardless.

That’s very dismissive. There are millions of people, especially poor Black people, who have become disillusioned with voting because they haven’t seen any tangible life improvements.
Folks gotta do their homework. Staying home during local elections which directly affect them is on them.

Breh, folks KNEW how bad another Trump presidency would be, and they still did nothing to try & stop it.

You still have to live in the system because the show will go on no matter if you pout like a child or not. Like them saying goes you can’t fix the problems from the outside , you have to work within the system.

This logic deads the whole #novote argument

No, not everyone who doesn’t vote in presidential elections is stupid. Many people realize that the Electoral College and Lobbying counteract the impact of voting.

This is the typical response you low information nikkas like to post on here. We have seen anl marked increase of cops being prosecuted and convicted since Obama directed that the Justice Department mandated that Police Agency issue and enforce body cams on all of their officers...

That shyt went no where cause I can tell you know Howard co police dept doesn't have any and they asses is 45 mins from DC

I hate to break it to you, at the tender age of however old you are, but "smart" people's biggest blind spot is their lack of awareness regarding how beholden we all are to the whims and feelings of stupid people

Y'all want so bad for it to be "smart people over here, stupid people over there:scust:" but that's never been how things work. We're all connected at the hip

So be dismissive all you want, but it's more and more apparent that y'all need some stupid people in your corner more than you pretend you do:manny:

That’s the disconnect. Many people don’t consider Trump’s first term as bad for them personally. What they remember about Trump’s 1st term was how much less expensive stuff was. The Democrats don’t provide clear explanations on how “bad” Trump will be. It’s either hyperbolic (eg Fascist) or long-winded mealy mouth explanations. Meanwhile Trump has simple messaging such as “Kamala is for they/them, Trump is for you”.

Democrats and the Kamala campaign straight up got finessed. They were overly focused on winning over moderates and Republicans who ended up voting for Trump while Trump’s campaign was focused on peeling voters away from the Democrats even if that meant convincing them not to vote at all.
