The above link is to a new story about a battery plant that’s going to open up in central Kentucky, and create about 1500 jobs . Kentucky as we all know is a dumpster fire of a state, with hardly any jobs that pay a livable wage and has some of the worst quality of life indicators in the country. You would think that getting 1500 jobs along with another battery factory in a city called Elizabethtown would be exciting news as Kentucky is becoming a hub of manufacturing in the EV market .

And yet, the people in the comments are doing nothing but bytching, complaining, wishing failure on the electric car industry, criticizing any and all investment in the electric car industry because the Democrat governor of Kentucky is spearheading these projects, implying that because Governor Beshear supported Kamala that the idea of EVS is a bad one, etc. etc.

I want you all to read the comments of this news story and understand that this is how most conservatives think.
